By Day… The villa presents some wonderful indoor/outdoor lifestyle options; swimming, sunbathing on the comfortable sun-loungers around the pool, sipping on a cool tall drink as you ponder your next move. Or maybe the pure bliss of a traditional Thai massage!

By Night…The villa becomes a wonderland for the senses as the soft mood lighting transforms the villa into a romantic tropical paradise. Imagine the gentle murmur of quiet conversation, the flicker of soft candlelight and the sound of music floating in the air with three zones of outdoor speakers. This villa can become what you want it to be; a private oasis away from the rest of the world or a magnificent entertaining environment.

Villa Samprasada is the perfect hideaway haven for one or two couples and children, who seem to never leave the swimming pool. Each couple has their own private accommodation wing with total privacy and space plus ensuite bathrooms. And each couple's bedroom looks out onto the pool. Plus the villa has one additional single bed in a private hallway in one wing, plus a plush couch for a sixth person in the living room.

As you would expect from a villa of this caliber, almost every detail of the interior and exterior finish is flawless. The villa has graced the front cover of Koh Samui’s prestigious Real Estate Magazine for its contemporary design. and has also been on the cover of Avenida Magazine, a Dutch Architectural magazine.

The furniture, the furnishings and the many traditional artifacts displayed throughout, capture the true spirit of Balinese culture and reflect a sense of peace and harmony.

If you play golf, grab your clubs. There are two magnificent courses on the island.

And the villa is only 5 minutes drive away from popular Fisherman's Village in Bohput (on Bophut Beach) with its many boutique shops and world class seaside restaurants, cafes and bars. You have a complete assortment of restaurants here...Italian, French, Mexican, Thai, Steak and Seafood, Indian and more. Quoting from a travel guide: "Fisherman's Village is one of the few places on Samui that retains so much of the island's original Thai-Chinese atmosphere..." And on Friday nights the village closes it's road and becomes a walking street which we always recommend for all guests.

Bophut beach itself encompasses some 2km of white sandy shoreline fringed by coconut palms and the calm waters of the bay make this a popular spot for playing or relaxing.

And just a short twenty minutes drive you find yourself in Chaweng where the main tourist shopping and nightlife in Koh Samui is located.

Due to the hillside location of the villa you should rent a vehicle. Rental vehicles can be easily arranged to suit your requirements. You can take taxis, but they are more expensive on Samui so most people rent vehicles. And you are only five minutes drive from Fisherman's Village and the beach. "Three left turns and one right turn and you're at the beach!" as one of our renters once said to us.

Getting around

We always recommend renting a vehicle. Taxis can be arrange for pickups and dropoffs at the villa, but your own vehicle is always recommended.

Interaction with guest

When you arrive, your rental includes a pickup from the airport and you will be taken to the villa. At the villa our wonderful house manager (her name is "Khun Oh" or her assistant will meet you and hand you the keys and explain the villa. When you book she will also arrange the meet and greet car service who will take you to the villa. As Ive mentioned most of my renters book a car from Khun Oh and if you have arranged this she will have your car available for you at the house when you arrive (she handles car rentals directly as this is her business). When you leave she will also arrange for your car service back to the airport.
