There is no better location in the whole city--we find ourselves surrounded by greenery and guests are only a 10-minute walk in the picturesque old town of Aachen. The house is completely baby friendly and safe with all baby amenities. We stand by our personal service and go the extra mile for our guests' needs. In the 61 m² vacation house, you will find a bedroom, a large kitchen, a living room with large, comfortable sofa bed, a guest toilet and a bathroom with shower. In the living room there is a flat screen television with DVD player, Dolby surround system, and wireless internet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all kinds of utensils, coffee maker, Senseo, kettle, toaster, microwave, and egg cooker. In the garden you can find a barbecue. You will find games, books and DVD's, preventing you from boredom.

For your car there is a parking place specifically in front of the house or, on request, a single garage, and possibly a place to park a horse trailer. Bicycles can be arranged on request. Accessories such as a hair dryer, soap, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, shower gel, dish towels, coffee filters, toilet paper, etc. are provided.

  Cute little house great for a family!

  What a cute little place! I stayed here with my husband and 8 month old daughter. The house is super child friendly. They had a portable baby bed, high chair, changing area and even a diaper pail! There were also a few toys and kid things there for older children as well. Even a baby gate for the stairs so the munchkin would go tumbling down.
  
  The kitchen was spacious with room for a 6 person table and a futon sofa. There was lots of floors space for my child to practice her crawling skills.
  
  The living room was also very spacious. The couch was great. One of those wrap around numbers. The house was very clean and bright and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others with or without children.
  
  The location was great. With pushing stroller over the hills it took us about 20 minutes walking to be in the center or town. It is less than a €10 taxi ride from the main train station.
  The owner was very helpful with both bus & travel directions. She even found out that the aachen taxi’s have some with built in child seats! So if your baby is over 9kg you can ride in the taxi without needing to bring your car seat with you.
  The welcome pack had loads of take out menus which was great. After traveling for a number of hours we didn't want to go out to get food.
  The house also had a whole shelf of tourism information. There were maps and aachen info guides! So helpful and useful too!
  
  Of course nothing is perfect, our few drawbacks: no potholders in the kitchen (minor and may have just been our stay). The shower isn’t made for very tall people. My husband is over 6ft and was sort of ducking a bit in the shower. 95% of the TV is German language. We only found BBC News & CNN news in English. The place did have a Batman movie & Desperate Housewives season 1 Dvds so we watched those. I’d recommend bringing along a few movies if your group isn’t German speaking. Also, this house has outside blinds/shutters. In the bedroom these were accessible from the inside. The living room has some very light curtains you could close on the inside but the main privacy shutter access was on the outside. We didn’t close the outside ones because we thought it too cold to open the windows! Still all the negatives are very minor and if we were to travel to aachen again this would be my first choice of accommodation!

  Cute little house with yard, close to city center and park

  My family loved staying in this cute house. There was plenty of room for my husband and I and our three kids. My kids were happy to have a TV after staying for two weeks in 2 other European apartments that had no television and I liked that there were also games, toys, and a yard so my kids had plenty to do. There is also a huge park just a few blocks away. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it easy to prepare meals there, but we also enjoyed walking down down the street to Moss bakery for breakfast pastries and coffee or some baguette sandwiches for lunch. The city center with the beautiful Dom Cathedral and the Rathaus is within walking distance; I would say it is about a mile and my three kids (ages 4, 6, and 7) had no problem walking back and forth. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this house to friends visiting aachen.
