      Heaven

We are Bali Beachhouse fans and Nengah and Putu and the staff are warm generous spirits who we count as friends after multiple visits over the past two years. We are seriously addicted to holidays in amed and love love love it! Our families are tired of our enthusiastic talk so now it's looking at dates, flights and holidays to see if they can join us and when we can next luxuriate in the Bali Beachhouse experience.

      We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Left on 02/29/2012 for a stay in April 2011

Murni and I live in Ubud, Bali. We got a recommendation from a good friend about the Bali Beach House and went 2 years ago to have a look as we were staying nearby at Tulamben. We immediately fell in love with the stunning location, architecture and comfort of the place and immediately decided to stay there the next time that we were in the area.

And we did and it was even better than we thought. We were delighted by the owners Nengah and his wife and even more happy with the 5-star quality food. It was a bit difficult to get on line although I imagine that this has been attended to. It wasn't a problem anyway as there was a very fast internet place 5 minutes walk away.

We have just booked another stay next month and are looking forward to it. Murni has her own restaurant and small hotel in Ubud - Murni's Houses - and Murni's Villas - so she has a professional eye and if she likes it, it must be good!

I simply loved the early morning sunrises on the beach which is accessed by a gate in the garden and was staggered by the stunning view of the majestic Mount agung. My photos of these memorable views are on www.jonathaninbali.com

      We didn't want to leave

Bali Beach House was amazing. Magical location, great snorking right in front, fantastic house and gardens that are even better than the web photos, but most of all the owner and staff who were wonderful and struck the perfect balance between assisting you with everything you needed and providing privacy. We just did not want to leave and had every delicious meal, made with fresh local produce at the house. Easy of booking, great information pre trip, smooth transfers, and pure relaxation made it all very special.

      Stunning!

Left on 01/20/2012 for a stay in July 2011

Our stay at Bali Beach House can be epitomised by the view of the Sacred mountain agung - a spiritual experience. The house is well-appointed, airy & spacious and the staff is really attentive & helpful.

The location is good for beach and village walks, near to good restaurants but who needs them with the in-house meal options? The salt farming just down the beach was a great highlight. The only small problem was that the stereo system didn't appear to work but in these days of the iPod Nano etc it wasn't a problem.

I have recommended Bali Beach House to friends and hope to reurn in the next couple of years on my yearly six weeks in Bali. Emily's pre-vissit notes were an excellent insight into what to expect - well done!

      Great to go back again

Left on 01/19/2012 for a stay in January 2012

This was actually our third visit to the Beach House. Previously we had enjoyed it so much I decided that it would be the perfect place to have my 60th Birthday. In the end there were 12 in our group, five of us stayed at the Beach House, the rest stayed at a Kembali Bungalows right next door (they were also positive about the bungalows, but all wished they could have been in the Beach House.
The owner, Nengah and the staff greeted us like long lost family and continued to look after us like family for the next 5 days, The whole group had dinners there each night and all agreed the food quality was a cut above what we'd had elswhere in Bali.
The Birthday Dinner starred a roast suckling pig, that was certainly fresh, we saw it in a pen 6 hours earlier! Nengah's daughter and friends provided the culture with fine displays of traditional Bali dancing.
I'm sure we will return agai, maybe next time just my wife and I. and we will probably avoid the wet season, the last two days of our stay were untypically wet even for January, leaving clothing atc. feeling damp for those of us in the non airconditioned rooms.
Overall the place is excellent value and the staff really are special, Amed is 3 hours and a million miles from Kuta, a slice of the real Bali.

Thought I'd Died and Gone to Heaven - Multiple Times!!

Left on 01/03/2012 for a stay in December 2011

As a Bali expat I have stayed at Bali Beach House many times over the years. It's the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, where I live. The family owners and staff that run it are friendly, provide a fantastic breakfast, and cook delicious dinners upon request. I just took my visiting family there and they loved it - teens and adults alike

The three bedrooms are decorated differently and one is air conditioned. The others have fans and all have mosquito nets. My favorite is what I call the Princess room on the second story with a balcony overlooking the garden and sea beyond.

I like that there's the pool in a lush private garden with great views or you can open the gate and be on the beach and snorkeling is right outside the door. The long beach is perfect for sunrise or sunset walks.

When I go to amed there is no where else I want to stay.
