This was a lovely, rural retreat in a beautiful part of South Wales. The owner was most obliging and friendly, and helped to make our stay at the cottage very memorable by ensuring that we had all that we needed to make us comfortable.

We had a lovely week at Coed y Gelli. The cottage is very comfortable cosy and roomy. It is in a lovely location which is very quiet.Although it is fairly remote(car required) it is well situated for visits througout a magnificient area. The owners were very helpful even though they were always busy looking after their horses. A couple of minor improvements could be made. Bathroom could do with an upgrade, and a decent size television would be would be nice. Ron & Margaret anglesey
Loved the space in the living area with oodles of chill out room ( a sofa each and one to spare!) ecelectic mix of furniture somehow makes it feel very authentic if not very coordinated. Very relaxed and lovely surroundings.

We spent the week staying at this cottage, as we have family nearby, and also had a wish list of attractions that we wanted to see.
We received a warm welcome from the owner on arrival, and were delighted with the cottage. It had all the comforts of home and that touch of luxury that we were looking for. We ate at local restaurants - the Cripple Creek is a must! Coed Y Gelli is an ideal getaway retreat, surrounded by open countryside and within a working stable it is perfect for countryside enthusiasts, together with luxury for any townies! Would definately recommend.

A very nice area, accommodation very good suited us very well. Nice to see the horses and all the pheasants just walking about the stud. Made to fell very welcome and we loved the dogs and garden.
The Only problem we found was that it was quite a bit out of the way. The Pub as advised was about two Miles and very expensive also. Nothing in walking distance for shopping.
If you want a Quiet, comfortable holiday base and as us like animals, I would thoroughly recommend this cottage.
As It was we could only stay for part of the week due to an unforeseen medical problem.
Would you recommend this Vacation Rental to a friend, it would depend on thier requirements.

Cottage was well presented, clean and well equipped. This was also very good value. The bedroom is huge and the four poster really comfortable. The woodburner was much appreciated with the snow we had!
Lots of towels were provided!

Owner was very nice and helpful. The cottage was amazing, very clean and well set out. The location was stunning with horses in the surrounding fields. Was a bit disappointed that there was no DVD player when it was stated tehre was one,but other than that everything else was better than expected. Fire place was beautiful and well stocked. Would go there again as the cottage is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing holiday.
