All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Comfortable cottage, with easy access to both town and countryside walking and driving. Friendly welcome and immediate attention when needs arose, e.g. light bulb. Canal walks on the doorstep. Outside, constant background noise from main road.

Sugar Loaf cottage very very dirty. Cooker still had food in grill pan, oven disgusting as was fridge.
We complained and were moved to the Blorenge cottage which was cleaner. Unfortunately both cottages are sited on a driveway which was in constant use by owner’s builder’s trucks, who used horn from 6 a.m. onwards.
There was also a scaffolding company on site with three large lorries in close proximity to the cottage. Often late rowdy parties in the farm house directly opposite into early hours of morning.
Pig sty immediately against back wall of both cottages which were very smelly all the time. This meant we were unable to open windows or sit outside the whole week.
Both cottages very close to main road, lots of traffic noise. This is not a picturesque spot with huge pylons in close proximity. The 'small holding' areas were extremely untidy with rubbish discarded everywhere. Access from the main road to site is hidden with no signage at all - take care - original signs long fallen down!. Animals on small holding neglected. This we found very distressing.
It was clear the agent and the owners had little interest in providing a pleasurable stay.

The site where the cottages sited have lorries and trucks going up and down during the day.
The cottage was clean and tidy
The lady who cleans the cottages was friendly. I found the double bed upstairs very uncomfortable, so I moved downstairs to sleep on the sofabed which wasn't much better. The blanket on the sofabed had been slept on by a dog.
We left the next morning.
