The cottage has two king-size double bedrooms, one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, one second floor double bedroom, one second floor twin bedroom, two shower rooms, a bathroom, a separate basin and WC, a second floor bathroom, a ground floor basin and WC, a fitted kitchen with breakfa...st area (seats 8), a utility, a boot room, a dining room with an open fire, a sitting room with a woodburner, a large hall with a woodburner and comfy seating and a second floor sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for six cars, secure cycle storage and large enclosed gardens of about 1.5 acres with patio areas with furniture and large lawned areas with woodland and a brook. Brooklands is a fantastic base for your family holiday.

Fuel, power and starter packs for fires inc. in rent, further logs available on honesty box basis. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Two travel cots and two highchairs. Off road parking for 6 cars. Secure cycle storage. Large enclosed gardens of approx. 1.5 acres with patio areas with furniture and lawned areas with woodland and brook. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 8 mins walk. Note: Although this property does not accept pets the owners occasionally stay with their dogs. Note: There is an open brook with foot bridges over and access to the open River Gavenny, please ensure children are supervised at all times. Note: Some traffic noise may be experienced when in some parts of the garden. Note: The stairs to the second floor are narrow and spiral so are not suitable for those with limited mobility.

Nestling amid seven surrounding mountains and with the River Usk flowing through it, the town affords lovely views wherever you look. The Black Mountains, the breathtaking Brecon Beacons and the local countryside have so much to offer to lovers of the outdoors, including fabulous walking, biking and climbing opportunities, and the River Usk is abundant in fish for those who like nothing more than spending their time relaxing by the riverside with a few casts of the rod.Read more

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
