NorthamptonA home from home.
Left on 05/16/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We were met on arrival by the owner and received a very warm welcome. The house was a real home from home and we found everything that we needed. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and all the appliances were in good condition. Aberlour has a selection of shops supplying all the basics as well as several different eateries and a take away which were within a few minutes walking distance of the property. The Mash Tun in particular was very good and very popular and very close. The house was just off the main road ,with a private parking space, and gave easy access to the attractions of the area.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to return again, as there is so much still to see in the area, and as it was a welcoming place to return to after a day out -

Left on 05/04/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We stayed in this wonderful property just after Easter 2013 whilst visiting our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
The owner anne was there to welcome us after our 8 hour drive and we immediately fell in love with the place. Bright, spotlessly clean and cosy in the evenings.
The house has every convenience you could require, nothing has been left to chance. Situated in the beautiful aberlour, close to a pretty church, home of Walkers shortbread, Abelour whiskey and a number of small specialty shops it was an ideal place to tour the local area. Ballindalloch castle and Lossiemouth beach are both worth a visit.
Two minutes walk away is the Mash Tun inn, a renowned restaurant and whiskey bar which is well worth a visit, also the nearby spectacular river Spey with it's famous walks and salmon fisherman wading across its broad expanse. We would recommend this property.
We look forward to returning sometime soon.
