The cottage has been graded with four stars by VisitWales, and is available for rental all year-round.

The Centre for Alternative Technology at Machyllneth is an interesting eco-centre over 7 acres, with water-balanced cliff railway, and loads of ideas for greener living.

The Hafod Estate, Llanacheron Estate (National Trust), Ponterwyd red kite centre, Devils Bridge waterfalls, as well as the many steam railways also make enjoyable days out.

“Great cottage for a nice break.”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2024

We had a really nice break in this very well equipped cottage. The garden and views were wonderful. Hopefully we will return again in the future.

“Cottage with a wow”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2021

We stayed here for two weeks this month. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the cleanliness and facilities but on going upstairs and coming across the roof terrace it turned from impressive to Wow. What a view, how could you fail to relax with that and the aerial display given by the red kites? Stresses of everyday life just slipped away. We absolutely loved Primrose Cottage and hope to return soon.
