Creeper's End Lodging consists of two brand new colonial-style cottages (Cottage A & Cottage B) nestled at the base of the Creeper Trail in Historic Abingdon, Virginia. These charming cottages consist of two rentals in cottage A and three rentals in cottage B. All units have a private bath, free wireless internet, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and sink. All cottage rentals are smoke-free and pet-free (local pet boarding is available).

Creeper Trail – the high point of any trip to Abingdon, this trail that goes from Abingdon to White Top Mountain; perfect for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. The Bike Shop will rent you a bike and drive you to the top of the trail for the 18 mile ride down the mountain.

The renowned Barter Theater, where stories live. The Barter Theatre was founded during the Depression by a young actor named Robert Porterfield who developed the concept of bartering produce from the farms and gardens of the area to gain admission to see a play. The idea of “ham for Hamlet” quickly caught on. Alumni of the Barter include Gregory Peck, Patricia Neal, Ernest Borgnine, Hume Cronyn, Ned Beatty, Gary Collins, Larry Linville and Kevin Spacey.

Historic Abingdon downtown district is famous for the many 18th and 19th century buildings that line the streets, as well as amazing restaurants, and delightful shops. Downtown Abingdon boasts a thriving arts district that includes museums, art galleries, crafts shops, antiques shops, and music stores.

The Spa at the Martha Washington Hotel, for luxurious spa and salon treatments, a fitness gym, heated year-round therapeutic salt-water pool, outdoor Jacuzzi with two soaking pools and fire-pit and two lighted tennis courts with special “cushioned” surface. William King Museum with an impressive collection of exhibits, art classes and gift shop featuring local artists Fields-Penn 1860 House Museum is a historic building built in 1860 by James and Susan Fields for use as their private residence.
