Peacefully situated in the little hamlet of Ordie, within a 10 minute drive of the pretty Royal Deeside towns of Ballater and Aboyne and 20 minutes from Balmoral Castle, this detached south-facing bungalow is ideal for a couple or small family. The interior is comfortable, cosy and welcoming. French doors in the living room open onto a patio area and the enclosed garden is a lovely secluded sun-trap with garden furniture.

The house is ideally situated in the middle of magnificent Royal Deeside countryside. The proprieters were friendly and happy to store our bicycles under cover. The facilities were all we needed for a low-budget, self-catering holiday in a quiet location. Although the house is generally well-appointed and clean, the grey-coloured bathroom sanitaryware needs updating. The lounge/diner would benefit from the high hedge opposite the patio doors being lowered to let in more light. The friendly pet chickens and sheep in the fields beyond were especially endearing.

A quiet situation, but not remote from facilites for shopping eating and places of interest. Compact but cosy. The owners (next door) were helpful and friendly but not intrusive - they were there if you needed them!
