Welcome to Adelaide Art Deco Cottage

Located on a quiet leafy street in Naldera Street, Glandore, this 3 bedroom cottage is only minutes from the centre of our beautiful Adelaide city and Glenelg Beach – approximately 5kms each way.

Leave your car under the carport, the cottage has excellent transport links with the Adelaide to Glenelg Tram being only a few minutes walk away and serviced by buses on Anzac Highway and South Road. The cottage is within a short walking distance of the Adelaide Tram which will take you direct from the home to the Esplanade of Glenelg Beach and direct to the Adelaide Central Market, Rundle Mall and... leading all the way to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Just two stops away is the Adelaide Showgrounds – spending Sunday morning at the Sunday markets is a must.

Be selective and stay at this lovely Cottage and have the the space and comfort of a whole home, rather than the confinement of a single hotel room. This rate is inclusive of your bedlinen, bath & hand towel & bath mat. We also provide a welcome pack for the pantry, along with some Nespresso Coffee Pods & Nespresso Coffee Machine to relax with a cuppa when you first arrive. (Why should Mr Clooney be the only one to get "star" treatment)

The Cottage has two good sized bedrooms with the main bedroom consisting of a wrought iron Queen Size bed. The second Bedroom has two brass single size beds and the 3rd smaller bedroom has a single bed. The “heart” of the home is fully equipped with a galley kitchen and eat in dining area and there is a separate lounge room LCD TV and DVD player. The home is serviced by an updated bathroom with shower over bathtub and separate toilet as well as a separate laundry with front loader washer and ironing facilities.

Outside, there is an expansive private sanctuary with majestic trees, shrubs, vines and flowers and an outdoor setting, perfect for relaxing with a glass of something, under the umbrella. There is secure off street parking for 2 cars.

For families and those who enjoy Yoga there is the Glandore Community centre only a few steps away, that has a playground for the younger members of your family, a good spot to run and exercise and conducts regular playgroup, cooking and yoga sessions which you are welcome to join for a small fee.

More than the logistics of a home “that works” and that is fully self contained with all linen, cutlery, crockery, gourmet kitchen and utensils this home also ticks the “feel good” boxes. It has some lovely antique pieces, gorgeous prints and artwork. Try it for yourself, you will love staying here.

Ideally located if you plan on attending some of our popular events including Clipsal 500, Tour Down Under, Adelaide Festival, Fringe Festival, Royal Adelaide Show, Womadelaide.

You will love having this as your home base. The home is situated in a green tree lined street and has a park a few steps away with playground and play equipment for the children.

It is in a central location being only 5kms from the city of Adelaide or our popular tourist beach of Glenelg You are spoilt for choice of public transport. Either the Adelaide to Glenelg Tram, Bus Service on South Road, Anzac Highway and all within 5 minutes walk of the property. Local 7 day shops and takeways, open till late within 5 minutes walk of the property. And a 20 minute walk (but 3 minute drive) will take you to the Kurralta Park Shopping Centre, with Coles Supermarket, Kmart, Michele's Coffee, Subway, Nando's, Bakery, a Newsagency, Chemist, Flight Centre, OPSM, medical centre the list goes on. It’s a 10 minute drive to the city and all it has to offer including the Central Market, Theatres, Rundle Mall Shopping, Museums, Art Gallery and the Adelaide Zoo (with Panda’s now on exhibit). Minutes also to everything on offer at Glenelg Beach and along Jetty Road plus it’s only a quick drive to Westfield Marion Shopping Centre, Harbourtown, and the airport.

To get to the property from the airport it will cost you approximately $15 AUD.

  Firstly The owner Kris was great to deal with, prompt on all communication,and very helpful indeed.
  The cottage was very comfortable,with many extras.Plenty of room, the cottage was actually much bigger in real life than in photos.Lovely quiet area, with off street parking. Although we didn't need to use them there was heaters in most of the rooms, over head fans,lamps,all comforts were thought of including very nice coffee and treats.
  Very comfortable beds and nice linen. The house was filled with gorgeous pieces of furniture and decor,that made the house very interesting. The house was very clean and homely.
  We would definitely stay at the art Deco Cottage again.

  From the moment we booked our family holiday with Kris we received excellent customer service and great communication.
  The art Deco cottage is adorable with many extra features to make your stay homely and comfortable. The house is really well maintained and perfect for families with plenty of entertaining space inside, as well as in the beautiful well manicured gardens.
  The cottage is within 10 minutes of shops, take away outlets and close to public transport, beaches and the city.

  Fabulous quaint cottage!

  We stayed here with our two older children for almost two weeks. Kris has a lovely cottage that had all the amenities of home. There was plenty of room for the four of us in a great location near shopping and the city. The neighborhood has a wonderful community center just a block down the road (where I took advantage of a yoga class) and a block up the road was a large park where my kids went to run daily. At the end of a long day of being out it was always a pleasure to return back to the cottage!

  Our family (2 adults and 2 young children) spent 6 weeks in this accomodation after relocating to adelaide.
  The owner was extremely accomodating, popping in a number of times to see if all was ok and also provided us with lots of friendly advice about adelaide and environs + the australian lifestyle and culture.
  We found the presentation and amenities to be excellent particularly the kitchen and utility.
  The convenient location allowed easy access both into the City and down to Glenelg and the western beach front.
  We would have no hesitation in recommending this accomodation to others.

  A home with something for everyone..

  The service I received was great... the owner was very hospitable and welcoming. She came over the day I arrived to say hello and drop off the internet dongle.
  The house was great, although I did have to move a number of breakable items out of my toddlers's reach!! Plenty of comfortable seating in lounge, modern TV etc, well equipped kitchen, compact but usable bathroom. Loved the large secure backyard that my son could run around in safely whilst I sat at patio table.
  Great location.. walking distance to trams, buses, two small shopping centres with takeaways, half way between city and beach.
  Liked the location of house the best and the lack of storage space/shelving in the bathroom the least.

  This accommodation far exceeded my expectations, both in its high standards and in the service I received from the property manager. The cottage was spotless, beautiful both inside and out, well stocked with every possible item you could possibly need on a holiday, and the location was absolutely perfect for us. The cottage is both adult and child friendly, and has a warmth and ambience you don't find in apartments or hotels. Can't speak highly enough of this place, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy, comfortable and homely place to stay.
