Fraser River Retreat is a private waterfront post-and-beam lodge, situated on a secluded tributary of the Fraser River located one and a half hours East of Vancouver and only 5 minutes off the Trans Canada Highway in Agassiz, BC. With truly breathtaking river and mountain views, nature is all around. This property is perfect for large groups of up to 16 people. The lodge can accommodate 10 guests in four of the comfortable and spacious, exquisitely appointed bedrooms and up to 16 with foldout beds, sofas and cots. The beds beckon you t...o lie down for a night of quiet, blissful sleep. With cozy comforters and lofty pillows, you are definitely going to want to sleep in! The feature suite, also called the Bridal Suite, has a private deck that overlooks pristine mountains and a jetted soaker tub for two surrounded by stained glass windows. Curl up in front of the in-room fireplace or have the rest you deserve in the luxurious king-sized bed. Be entertained with your 32 inch HD TV and make use of the clock radio with I-pod dock so you can wake-up to your choice of music.

The Bella Suite on the upper floor is a spacious, tastefully decorated, room with a queen size bed, lovely French doors separating the suite for those who want to stay up late, TV, DVD, a fireplace and lots of room to stretch your legs out and relax. The Bella is situated on the balcony overlooking the cathedral ceilings and rock fireplace. Having room for an extra cot makes it comfortable for 3. A semi private 3 piece bathroom is right next door. Also on the balcony level is a room with 2 bunk beds.

On the main floor is the so called Bamboo Room. This room comes with an attached three piece ensuite bathroom. It is a deluxe queen sized bedroom suite with beautiful bedding and decor and comes with satellite TV and an I-pod dock for your listening pleasure.

Kick back in front of the wood-burning fireplace as you enjoy the over-sized comfortable sectional couches, or maybe you need a good massage in the massage chair. Look up and enjoy majestic 30 foot cathedral ceilings in the common living room. For your dining pleasure there is a large solid log table that is suitable for small banquets or board meetings. Are you a reader? There is local history so curl up in front of the fireplace and enjoy a good book. Four those who enjoy sports and movies, there is a home theatre with a brand new blue ray HD TV, player and satellite TV. Wake up and enjoy a gourmet breakfast on the deck, in your room or at the dining table. Relax on the very large deck and watch osprey and eagles dive for fish. There are resident beavers and otters that are often seen as well. You may also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a black bear by the waters edge.
