The Welch house is a very nice place to stay. Well appointed, nice new spa out back. It has everything you could want. We were there for eight nights and loved it. One plus for us was the garage, as we trailered our motorcycle up with us. It is a lovely house, with all the a,entities of home.
My only complaint is the beds. They badly need updating. I have a back problem and did not sleep well the entire time. My husband doesn't have a back problem and didn't sleep well either.

We stayed here with our two children and dog recently and had a wonderful time. The house is clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Architecturally we think it is one of the finest in agate Bay. The location on Sahara Drive is perfect, in between the beach and the dock. We look forward to returning again.

Received the keys at 4 pm but the cleaner was still at the house. The house is great. Lots of space. The bed arrangement in the master bedroom was odd..a crib, 2 twin beds and the master bed. The beds above the garage could be reconfigured for more beds. Nice to have that space for the older kids. Kitchen supplies were very nice but there isn't a blender or hand mixer. Also need wine glasses. The TV in the living room is difficult to see. Perhaps it was damaged by direct sunlight. Ping pong, horseshoe pit, jacuzzi, and ample deck were lots of enjoyment.
A jump off the dock in to beautiful Lake Tahoe is the best!

Although the home accommodated all 10 of us, we were surprised to find the 2nd bedroom on the main floor with 2 twin beds. If all 3 bedrooms in the main home would have had double beds, we would have been more comfortable. The bedroom above the garage is great for kids to sleep in as well as to hang out away from the main home. We liked having a deck in the front of the house and one in the back. Our dog was very comfortable there and being able to barbecue every night was important as we had only planned to go out one evening out of the 7 we were there. We did use the dock and the pool, so appreciated having access to both and the dock was definitely our favorite.

Loved the house wish I owned it. Spacious and roomy. Modern updates. Nice kitchen and well equipped. Had fun with the horseshoes and ping pong table. Plenty of parking. Only down side for us were the beds. Simply put they were a little hard and uncomfortable. We have been staying in this area for the last few years and this is one of the nicer places in our price range that we have used. Hope to use again!!

We have been going to agate Bay for the past 5 years, staying in a different house each year. We have two young children, and have friends join us that also have young children.
This has been my favorite house so far. It was great to have the huge lawn with the little kids. The deck was very nice, sturdy, and spacious.
The living room is on the small side, but laid out in a way that feels open. And the kitchen is nice and open too.
We liked having the room above the garage. Very spacious and comfortable, but there is no fan in there, and the room gets really hot during they day, and took almost all night to cool down.
The other downside is that the only way to the hot tub is through a bedroom (that the kids slept in) so we had to walk all the way around the house to get to it.
Overall, the house was great and I look forward to staying there again. Read more
I'm so glad you enjoyed the Welch home! I hope you can return soon. Don't forget about the side door through the Laundry room. When you open the door and go down the two stairs, the hot tub is about 10 feet to your left. Thank you!
comfortable, well-appointed home, good for kids

We travelled with my older parents and four young children, and this home suited all of us--easy access, big comfy front room, outdoor room to play. Great location, near the Lake, lovely pool, short drive to east side of Lake. A cozy home yet tastefully appointed. I would definitely go back. Two small issues--garage bedroom and back bed with trundle could use better window treatments--they got bright awful early. Icemaker on the fritz, and no one offered to get it fixed. Otherwise, an easy, comfortable place.

Our stay at the Welch home was very relaxing and comfortable. This was our second stay, and we would come back again. The home suited our family needs, exspecially my son who loved the loft above the garage along with the ping pong table, we had some really good matches. Good times.

The house is in a great neighborhood, close to everything. Minutes from the shore and shops. It's a great house for a group, and kid friendly. We had a wonderful vacation there, stayed for a week - would go back!

We loved the Welch home! The location was great, convenient access to everything! We enjoyed the horseshoes, bocci ball, ping pong table and hot tub! We didn't even have to leave the house to be entertained! Janie was great to work with, too! The only negative thing I would have to say, is that there's no bathroom for the room above the garage (but I wasn't the one staying out there, and I don't think the kids minded!) We would definitely return there!

the house was very nice and we were delighted to discover the separate bedroom over the garage. Overall, 4 out of 5. Location was a plus because teenagers could walk to mini golf. Here are a few ways to improve:
needs new dryer - we could not dry our towels
needs a pan for boiling pasta
my brother in law fixed the in-sink disposal
needs another dresser in the downstairs bedroom to the left of hallway
we never did get the fireplace lit...
Thank you for the review. We had a handyman clear the dryer vent line and that seems to have fixed the dryer. We have passed your comment about a pasta pot along to the homeowner. Thank you.

This home very well furnished. It was comfortable, afforable and close walk to water. We had our soon to be "90" year young mother with us and she was able to get around very well.
When, not if, we come back to visit, we will definetely go through Agate Realty again.

What a wonderful spot for a winter, or summer, getaway! This home has everything you could need plus a garage to park in out of the snow. Very nicely furnished, bright and open feeling. You will love it!
