VILLA ELENA is just on the outskirts of a small town called Camastra. There you will find all your basic grouceries,bank,bar,butcher and restaurant. The next town is Naro, 3km away - beautiful baroque town with more shops and restaurants. Then only 10km away is Canicatti, there you will find a lot more chic shops, restaurants, banks and bars. VILLA ELENA is situated amgost the local Sicilian people, however it is easy to take day trips to more tourist spots not to be missed........

We rented this villa for our family and some friends for 2 weeks at the end august/beginning September. Teresa and her husband were there to greet us and nothing was too much trouble. The wonderful Christian looked after us wonderfully well, too! All in all a lovely villa in an interesting location.

Four adults, six children ranging in age from 19 to 11 and one special villa. You have only got to look at the reviews and pictures of the villa to know that it is more than 5 star so we were excited and hopeful when we booked. Villa Elena exceeded expectations in every way. Attention to detail, love and care has been poured into the refurbishment of this house by Teresa and Domenico, its charming owners. Everything had been planned and thought out from the stunning gardens (complete with vegetables and herbs for the guests' enjoyment), stunning pool area, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Christian the housekeeper ensured that our stay was as stress free as possible, arriving early each morning to tidy up and get the house ready for the day. The village of Naro is as far from a tourist trap as you could imagine and was authentically Sicilian in every way. No one spoke English but we managed to make ourselves understood by a combination of gestures and sign language and by the time we left we were on photo taking terms with the baker and coffee shop owner! This is not an area rich in designer shops or restaurants but the places we ate out in served good, honest and reasonably priced food. However the kitchen at the villa was so fantastic that we enjoyed just spending our evenings at 'home'. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We visited Villa Elena for a friend's wedding. It was the perfect location for a romantic wedding and the owners, Teresa and Domenico, organised the most perfect wedding. It was a truly wonderful day - the flowers and decorations were stunning, the food was out of this world and their attention to detail was superb. The villa was the perfect backdrop for such a lovely wedding. The views from the villa are spectacular and the villa itself is pure luxury. It was the pefect venue for a wedding and is also a superb place to simply relax. The villa is equipped with everything you could want and with the swimming pool and the view there's no need to do anything but relax and enjoy! Angie and Keith, Hampshire, England.

From the moment we arrived at Villa Elena the experience was superb. Our flight meant that we arrived at the villa very late in the evening, but once we arrived we were greeted by Christian the house keeper, who was very warm and friendly, he gave us a quick induction and showed us to our rooms before leaving us to settle in.
Everything in the villa had been thought of. Every little need had been covered; the attention to detail was extraordinary. In the bedrooms you could find ear plugs to hear dryers, in the setting room were DVD’s. Even the kitchen caters for your every need although most evening we spent outside using the BBQ. There was even a guild book to tell you all about local facilities and places of interest
I haven’t even started to talk about the villa. It truly is beautiful. The entire decor has been done to such a high standard you can’t find fault and the outside area was also stunning along with the beautiful pool.
What made are stay in Villa Elena even more special was that we came out to Sicily to get married and Villa Elena was the reception. With the hard work of Teresa and Dominico the owners of the villa we had a wedding beyond are dreams.
We look forward to our return. -

we visited vila elena for a friends wedding.the villa is amazing,modern spacious well equipped,and perfect for a wedding venue.the owners teresa and domenico were the wedding organisers and made sure everything went to plan,they worked very hard to make sure everything was perfect.food entertainment transport venue location were truly amazing.my family and i will remember it forever,it was quite magical.wendy and john parduez ,abergavenny ,u.k.

We had a wonderful family reunion at Villa Elena, coming from the UK, USa and Luxembourg. The house and grounds are beautiful, rooms decorated elegantly, the pool gorgeous, all maintained in pristine condition. Our family of 13, including 5 teenagers, loved it completely. The kids didn't want to leave the pool, there were plenty of games to occupy them, and they had their own special games room where they could make as much noise as they wanted without disturbing anyone. We adults loved the fact that kids were enjoying themselves so much, and we could be together without feeling crowded, especially when six of us were cooking in the kitchen together! It was lovely to be able to use the fresh produce from the garden to cook with, and even better for us, all of us could sit down all together at the dining table, eating, drinking, playing cards late into the night... And to sit out on the terrace in the evening, watching the sun go down with a drink in our hands...heaven. And every morning we'd come down to find that the nice young man had come in very discreetly, cleaned and tidied up, cleaned the pool and garden, even collected garden produce for us...we were very spoiled. It was hard to tear us away on the few days that we ventured out sight seeing. Even harder to leave as we had such a fabulous time...so we will be planning the next reunion soon...

My hustband John and I went with a group of ten other friends, we had the villa to ourselves and even took a couple of fitness trainers with us so that we occupied every bed in the villa! The facilites in the bedrooms and kitchen were first class and the pizza and barbeque ovens keps us amused and fed around the pool for the whole week! We did some sightseeing but then realised we were missing out on the luxury and comfort and well being of our villa and its beautiful gardens and views, we decided to just enjoy our company at Villa Elena. The supermarket and the shops around the town are well equipped with delicious sicilian food from breakfast creamy croissants to arancini for dinner! We have booked the villa for the next two years at the same time! We just can't wait!!
