This Holiday House is located in the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka, in the beautiful ancient capital of the Galle city, to be precise at Ahangama Tourist Zone. The resort is found amidst a large garden of about 5000 square metres with a variety of flowers and plants, away from the noisy traffic, and from the dust, offering a superb calm enviornment for those who intend relaxing amidst nature after an active day during your holiday.

The Holiday House is located in the Southeren Coast of SriLanka, in the districet of Galle at Ahangama Tourist area. It is located inside the village in a very large garden with flowers and vegetation. The distance to the Ahangama beach considered to be a good surfing beach is around 700 metres max. The beach and the main road runs parallel.
It's just one kilometer from the Ahangama Town centre..

Siamo un gruppo di amici con bambini che abbiamo passato il capodanno in SriLanka. La casa è immersa nella foresta tropicale e nel giardino è possibile vedere scimmie, manguste, uccelli bellissimi ed iguana. La struttura dista circa un chilometro dalla spiaggia, ma è una bella passeggiata che permette di familiarizzare con i locali che sono molto amichevoli. La struttura è comoda ed ampia. I bagni e la biancheria sono puliti. Gli accessori della cucina lasciano un po a desiderare, ma per il resto è tutto perfetto. Una esperienza veramente bella che permette di apprezzare la natura. Tutto il gruppo consiglia vivamente!

We stayed with friends during the recent England v Sri Lanka test match. It wasn't the perfect location but given 10,000 or so English fans were in the area we couldn't pick and choose. Some 25 minutes or so from Galle, the property is situated 400 metres behind the main road and beach. The house is not luxurious but is fitted with most amenities. Mossie net, kitchen, internet and a/c functional. The decor is tired. Our room was cramped but had a decent shower room attached. The grounds were nice and filled with wildlife (mongoose, monkey and lots of birds). It is budget accommodation. It was cheap and cheerful - Sri Lankan style.
The nearby beach (5 mins walk) was largely deserted but rather nice (it's not a tourist destination like Mirissa some 20 minutes' drive away - which is rather special; it's a local's beach). We found only one hotel (expensive drinks) and one beach bar (reasonable) nearby. I enjoyed its quiet atmosphere and good surf.
The locals were very friendly; indeed they seem surprised and delighted to see tourists. The dogs can be menacing at nighttime we were told. We didn't chance it. -

siamo una famiglia toscana abbiamo passato 3 settimane a gennaio 2012 in questo splendido posto immerso in un giardino rigoglioso e tenuto con molta cura e attenzione.
la posizione e' ideale perche' lontana dalla confusione ma vicina ad ogni servizio, i proprietari ci hanno messo a disposizione una macchina con un autista veramente molto disponibile e gentile. adatto ai bambini.da ritornarci.la casa e' molto grande noi eravamo 2 famiglie e avevamo ampi spazi. -

We had a very good holiday at your place.
All your facilities were great and cooks Kariyawasam & Indika made wonderful meals for us.
Roshan Pradeep was extremlely helpful for our travelling. Also Upali always kept contact with us to find out any shortcomings.
As for a improvement I think if you can provide a microwave oven for the guests it would be very helpful.
If we are visiting Galle again we will book your villa.

We spent a very enjoyable week in this spacious house. It is conveiently located within walking distance of the beach and a good hotel with a swimming pool. Galle is a 20 to 30 minute ride away by car, tuk-tuk or bus. The house has a very pleasant garden, where we enjoyed watching the wildlife there. We arranged for a cook and ate some delicious Sri Lankan rice and curry. We also hired a driver, Roshan, who spoke good English and was very helpful.

To rich the house you hav to leave the main street and take a little street through a thick vegetation. This is wonderful because the location is very quiet! The house is very big, clean and with all comforts. It is surrounded by a wonderful and very big tropical garden where you can relax or reading a book. It is very close to two wonderful beaches: Unawatuna and Mirissa. You can have a boat trip along Koggala lake to visit a spice garden and a Buddhist temple. The village of ahangama is very close and there you can find many shops, restaurant, bank and post office. The owner plans fantastic trips for visiting the island. And he is an excellent cook!

The resort is dip in a blooming garden ad the ambiance is very welcoming nice tea. The rooms are comfortable and the resting rooms wide. You will find hair drier, washing machine, TV, internet access and all the little comforts that make a longer holiday perfect. The beautiful garden will offer you an enjoyable coolness, sweet fruits and a wonderful setting for your outdoor launch. You will choose to cook by yourself or discover the unsuspected cooking abilities of your chauffeur. In fact the resort offers, on request, a van with a driver for short trips or the island
tour. The ahangama beach as well as Banks, shops, bars and restaurants are very easy to reach. With a short trip by car you will be able to reach the famous Unawatuna beach and the city of Gaulle with the remains of its colonial past. In the neighbourhood there is a turtle's orphanage, where the eggs of these animals are preserved till the birth and then released in the original environment, as well as a spices garden where is possible to look up to the growing of local kinds. In addition is possible to organize rounds to the Buddhist and Hindu temples, abandon you to their placid religiosity and admire the sacred art. I suggest you this beautiful refuge set in a flourish garden that will give you a relaxing holiday as well as an easy access to the attractions of the island.
