“Reasonable Priced” We enjoyed our visit in Ajijic as usual. This was our first time on the Upper Ajijic. The house we shared with the owner and his three cats was lovely decorated. Had a great. view of the lake and sunsets. The house is up near the top of the mountainside, so if you are walking you best be in good shape. The owner was helpful several time in taking us to the organic market and Walmart in his car. The only draw back was there was not enough towels and you had to wash your own linens if you wanted clean ones. We did not have to do this at the last place we rented. The maid washed and changed the sheets. Otherwise it was a good place for the price. The bedroom was large with it's own bathroom. The kitchen, dining areas for living room was very nice.

“Wonderful ajijic” We just got back from 6 amazing weeks and absolutely loved it. Bob and Sharon are excellent hosts, very welcoming and always ready with advice on local attractions and pointing out all the lovely little nearby markets etc. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and you could not beat the location. One block to the lake front and malecon and a couple of blocks to the plaza. There are an abundance of great, reasonably price restaurants, all within walking distance. This was our first trip inland Mexico and we look forward to our next stay in 2014. I should also mention that the weather was great !

“i am reborn” what an amazing experience this winter was,[dec 1-feb17] with these wonderful hosts. i admit reluctance describing how great it was because then there will never be a vacancy!! everything written in the previous reviews is true. i especially liked their friendliness and sociability while respecting my privacy and need for quiet time. ajijic was a wonderful choice for a first-time snowbird and this location was perfect for me. several local acquaintances expressed their approval with very 'green' eyes.

Your Vacation Getaway to Sunny, Safe Ajijic
Everything you need in paradise.

The casita has great space and everything you need for comfortable living away from home. The garden is beautiful with flowers everywhere. The area is very safe and the owners who live on the property are very friendly and there to help with any questions or problems. We didn't have a car, however, the bus stop is just at the bottom of the hill. You can easily walk to a little grocery store, a French bakery and good restaurants. Ajijic is just about a 2O minute walk from the casita and because the weather was so nice we enjoyed walking everyday all over the Lakeside area. … see more

Comfortable stay---Great location

We are two women traveling Mexico and actually stayed at this property twice. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water and nice art and amenities. The rooftop Mirador is beautiful with views to the lake. The location was perfect for us and very walkable. There are cobbled streets everywhere so good walking shoes are a must. The Plaza is a 15 minute walk and several local restaurants were within a 5 minute walk. Our host was congenial and helpful, but not invasive. This was a very safe home and we felt safe walking in the neighborhood at night. Taxis and Uber were also cheap and plentiful. We would definately stay with Michael again. … see more

Best Location, Best Vacation

Casa Como is perfectly located in the centre of ajijic - close to the main street (Colon), lake, plaza, restaurants, bars, and dance floors! This was our 2nd visit to ajijic and this time, the location made our vacation the best ever. The pool is so warm, the mountain views stunning, and Bob and Sharon are the hosts with the mosts. We were more than pleasantly surprised by how well the kitchen was stocked. We loved cooking on the 4-burner gas stovetop in our outdoor kitchen. Mornings were serene with a visit to the lakefront (malecon) to utilize the free outdoor exercise park. Awesome Stay!

We loved our 10 day stay at Casa de Como. Casita#1 had everything we needed. With a fridge and gas cooktop in the Casita we stocked up at the local market and were very self sufficient. The bed was large & comfortable and we loved waking up to the song birds in the morning. The weather was beautiful, only brilliant sunshine and with the lovely pool we could relax and cool down when ever. The patio table and chairs outside the casita gave shade for reading and enjoying the day. The town of ajijic has lots of little shops, delicious restaurants, a beautiful town square and lovely malecon for a walk beside the lake. There is lots to see and do in the area. We took in the local market that takes place on Wednesdays and it was a bustling concern with lots of great food, and goods for sale. So much fun!
