The owners of Yool Canal also own property on each side of the building, set aside just to ensure the tranquility of their stretch of beach. Our stay in yool Caanal was amazing! The snorkelling right out front of the condo was great. We seen turtles, rays, barracuda, squid, crab and many many colourful fish.
The condo has such personality and a feeling of home with all the decoration that has been put into it.
All the amenities are within walking distance, restaurants, shopping, convenience store and the amazing Yal Ku lagoon.
The management staff keep the back yard manicured to perfection, and the cleaners go out of their way to look after you.Response from Akumal Direct Reservations - 03/18/2012

This is a wonderful property in a fabulous location. The condo was spacious, clean, modern and a real treat. We were treated like kings and queens. There was snorkeling right off the beach. It is in a location where its not wall to wall condos, so you feel like you have some space.
We had a turtle nest hatch on the beach during our stay.
Very centrally located to Tulum and Coba. Away from Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, but all the ammenities you need.
The dive shop was fantastic.
The temperature was not too bad with the breezes off the beach.
Highly recommended. -

Right from the start the service was excellent...Marcia was very helpful and answered all of our question's. Check in was quick, maid service was terrific (girls even did our dishes). The condo was great with a large deck right on the ocean. This deck does join with the condo right next to it, but it didn't ever seem to be a problem. Lots of privacy during our stay...Loved having the lounge chairs and palapa's right out side of our door... The only con's we have are (1) not a swimable beach...absolutely terrific for snorkling but you definitley need water shoes to get in and out of the water...(2) The master bedroom shower was beautiful but the water pressure was terrible...(3) location was a little to far from akumal beach (we spent alot of time visiting family at akumal beach).

We'd stayed at this exact condo 4 years ago. The owner advised they'd "redecorated" but we liked it far better when it was simpler. There was too much "stuff" which made the condo feel very busy, too busy. The aC went out on day 3 of a 10 day visit and while the property management company was very cordial and professional, it never got fixed. It would also have been nice to have the view windows cleaned every few days. Otherwise it was very nice. Great location.

My family has vacationed in akumal for a number of years. We loved staying at Yool Caanal for this visit. It was perfectly located on the bay for us... we liked having a sandy beach right in front of the condo. The condo itself was very spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us (2 couples), we'll definitely be back!

Being in Akumal for it's 50 Años Celebration was a wonderful experience. For as much as it has changed, Akumal still has the small town charm that keeps calling us back. See ya next year!

We were very comfortable at our stay at YC#3. The pictures cannot even do justice to the actual breathtaking views of Half Moon Bay from the condo. We could hear the ocean at night. The air conditioner in the bedroom was nice to have. We also enjoyed the DVD's, music, and books that were provided in the condo. We cannot wait to return to Yool Caanal #3.

Akumal alone is wonderful! Our stay at Yool Caanal #3 was icing on the cake. The condo is spacious, well decorated and had all of the conveniences you could want. The sandy beach was just a few steps away. The view from the master bedroom of the ocean in all its glory was amazing! The only problem with the unit during our stay was the fact that the in-room safe was not operational. Thankfully, we were able to secure our valuables in hiding spots :-) and nothing was lost.
It was an amazing vacation for our family which included two teenagers who also thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Akumal was a wonderful experience.
I want to make sure to give credit to Marcia at who provided valuable insight into Akumal with travel tips and advice that were most helpful.

We loved easy, good snorkeling right out the door, walking to the point for sunsets, friendly guests in the other condos, and the overall ease of Akumal for a kid-friendly vacation.

Excellent snorkeling right off the beach. Were unaware at booking that the condo was a mile from the Akumal village, glad we had a rental car. Condo was very nice, would stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely fantastic place. Great location, luxurious condo, amazing views, beach and snorkelling footsteps away. We really couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be returning in the future!
