Description from the manager
Central air conditioning in this 2 bedroom unit is a nice addition to the ceiling fans and cross breezes from the Caribbean. Walk-on walk-off beach level makes it perfect for families with children. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom offers 2 non-movable twin beds. Its Mexican decor is enhanced by a flowering hibiscus hedge and palm trees, which add shade to the beachfront patio and create privacy. The kitchen offers many amenities such as new appliances. We enjoyed our stay (3 nights) in unit #5; it has a magnificent view of Halfmoon Bay. The unit is well laid out, the king bed was very comfy. The television is situated in an odd place (can't watch from the benches). Perhaps move the tv to the corner (diagonally across the room)? The kitchen is well-appointed but a tea kettle would be appreciated. Cleaning service was great, friendly staff and very accommodating. The unit can accommodate a family but there are lots of stairs and the low railing was disconcerning (for anyone scared of heights or small children).

Extremely memorable, beautiful. Greatly impressed with Sol Maya Rentals (Andrew Leigh) outstanding service, thoughtfulness, knowledge...Simply first rate. We would go anywhere on his recommendation. I was traveling by myself, as my husband had been there for some time--Andrew arranged a superb chauffeur door to door from Cancun airport to the front door-- and not a single moment's worry our entire vacation.
The location -on 'Half-Moon Bay' is so beautiful- couldn't imagine a lovelier view or more perfect climate or weather conditions-hot with a constant, cooling breeze, not a single bug, beautiful white beach, right on the ocean . It's really an apt, which itself is nice and spacious though not luxurious (as we were told beforehand) and definitely not 'well appointed' -pillows blankets, dishes etc very worn, kitchen equipment basic and battered) But as he said, a comfortable, relaxed, and warm environment; very safe and very friendly atmosphere, lovely local staff, extremely reliable bldg mgr. in short a very congenial spot, in the middle of paradise. -
