Villa Balam Ek Located just a half a mile from Central Akumal "The Heart of the Riviera Maya", this beautiful oceanfront villa makes the most of the Caribbean breeze and its stunning ocean views from each one of its rooms. Enjoy our delightful oceanfront terrace and circular pool, enjoy a private snorkeling experience in this seldom visited beautiful Bay just a few steps from the door.
The living and dining area all decorated Mexican-style. A flat-screen TV with the internet.
All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning and a gorgeous panoramic ocean view.
The master bedroom on the upper floor has a king-size bed, a large dresser closet, a full bathroom and a balcony overlooking the Caribbean sea. There is also an adjoining smaller room with a single bed and a private balcony.
The second bedroom upstairs has two double beds and one single bed. Also a closet, full bathroom, and a large ocean-view window.
The third bedroom downstairs consists of a king-size bed, closet, and a large wooden sliding door leading out to a private terrace with chairs and a hammock, you can see the ocean through the coconut palm trees and walk out to it.
All the bathrooms and kitchen are decorated with Mexican-style Talavera tiles, the kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker, as well as all the necessary utensils such as pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses, baskets, purified water, candles, lighter, etc. And for your convenience, there is also a charcoal grill on the terrace.

Response from the owner Thank you so much for your comments and reviews. We do not advertise a jacuzzi, it is just a tub and it is already fixed as well the knives are sharpened now. You would have asked the housekeeper to sharpen them for you, or any of the staff is why they are there for you, it would have taken a few minutes to do it. :) Thanks again for the comments and suggestions. Response from the owner Hola Dan, Thank you for taking the time and make a review for the house. We really appreciate. We also appreciate that you took the time of pointing things out on the house, about maintenance. The houses in front of the ocean required constant maintenance and we try to keep up while we have guests, but we usually have to wait for the low season or until the house is empty to make major repairs. However we got the new screen doors stalled already. This was urgent! You mentioned in your comment that we have portable air conditioning units in the bedrooms! We do not have portable AC. We do have Mini splits in the bedrooms. We will have AC in the casita soon, but not Central AC in the main house. The Wi-Fi is better now, we just installed a new router in the main house and another one in the casita to improve the signal in both! Now is working great! I hope you had a great vacation in Akumal.
