This villa is located on a narrow road with almost no traffic. The lawn and the garden with trees, a huge agave and some exotic flowers are well isolated from the neighbours, so you can have enough privacy for enjoying yourself.
The house has a consistent and pretty relaxing yet stimulating and exalting to the spirit design that you can hardly expect from a hotel or a mass market apartment. I can say that every time we were planning our day, it was tempting not to leave the villa at all but just continue staying in.
You will definitely need a golf class car. Two beaches, one for families and one for experienced swimmers, are in 5 mins drive if you choose a steep tricky shortcut or in 10 mins if you take a more conventional way.Response from Helena - 09/10/2012

We have stayed at this villa on 3 occasions now and we will definitely be staying again!
We enjoy holiday at this villa because it's clean, comfortable, has a lovely cosy feel about it, aircon and an absolutely fantastic pool area. We have never been disappointed.
It's in a lovely quiet area although you do need a car.
The Italian restaurant down the main road (towards albufeira) is great for breakfast - very reasonable, good choice and very tasty. Evening meals are great too however we prefer to go to Albufeira old town or the strip. The old town is a fantastic way to watch the world go by of an evening - loads of atmosphere and not too far from the villa at all.
The beaches are all close by and have lovely coves.
We love this part of Portugal and have had some truly fantastic holidays. The villa is a wonderful base and the owners are very accommodating - it has the thumbs up from us! -

We have stayed here for three years, for three weeks the first time and a month the following years. Helena was very friendly and helpful and we only saw her on our arrival but she was always at the end of the phone.
The villa was very clean and comfortable the pool and garden and were all serviced once a week. It is just like the photos,with lovely old furniture. The kitchen is well equipped with ,oven and microwave and fridge freezer. There is no bath just a free standing shower with curtain and the washing machine is also in the bathroom.
Would recommend.
The location was great, really quiet, you do require a car as although Pateo is not too far it would be rather a long walk!.
