We booked Veronica's beautiful modern villa for the months of January and February  to get away from the cold wet winter back home.  We had never been to Portugal before, and  found the villa by advertising on the internet.  Veronica was very helpful and answered all of our many email questions very speedily.   As we were travelling by car, Veronica  arranged for us to be met by her representative here, who showed us how to work the reversible air con, internet etc. and provided us with a  welcome pack of essential groceries which we really appreciated.  Â
The villa exceeded all our expectations, it's very comfortable  and is equipped to a very high standard.  The large terrace has a  built in BBQ and sun loungers , and adjoins the fenced pool  area.
The location is great too, convenient for albufeira town centre and the amazing variety of restaurants , cafes, bars and shops but far enough away so not to be disturbed by them.
The green space, which runs behind the villa , means its not overlooked and makes it feel quite rural. Â The many beautiful coves and beaches, which stretch along this coast, Â are within easy reach.
We weren't disappointed with the weather either.  Most days warmed up to between 16°C - 20°C  and  we ate lunch outside.  It did drizzle on about four days however, it was still warm and it didn't stop us getting out and about.

We spent in albuferia in house of Mrs. Veronica 2 weeks and we are highly glad about our choice. Accommodation is briliant - we lived in the best part of albufeira- very quiet and near to center.
The house is fully furnished and we could use many facilities like dryer, dishwasher, microwave, dvd, aircodition etc.
We spend a lot of time at swimmpool, which is not big but ideal for rest after dinner etc.
I highly recommend to all - it is a great place to relax! -

This holiday exceeded all expectations. The appartment and outside areas afforded chill out moments and the facilities were excellent. All pre planning ensured that everything ran smoothly. Having a car available was very important and my only suggestion for furure advertising would be that perhaps a warning that anyone having had a recent hip and knee replacement might have difficulty climbing the stairs inside the appartment!

6 adults and 2 children stayed here last month.and there was more than enough room for us all.this is a very spacious house.we had the pool to ourselfs most of the week.booking this place was so easy and veronica also arranged transfers from the airport which was great.everything we could of needed for the week was in the house.its also in a quite location which was perfect for us.i have already recomend this house to family and friends.super place!

My wife, three children and I had wonderful stay at Veronica's villa in the algarve. The villa is clean, beautifully decorated and equipped to a very high standard so all we had to do was relax at the pool and the beachs and soak up the sunshine!
Veronica sent us details of a company for a transfer and also made a recommendation for an hotel for my parents who wanted to stay close by. Both arrangements worked out really well with everyone saying it was one of their best holidays.
We would definately recommend Veronica's Villa. -

We stayed at this villa in June, 2 adults and 2 children 6 and 2. I found the villa to have everything we needed, it is truely a home from home, in the sun. The welcome pack was great as we arrived quite late. The pool was fantastic and the kids loved it, we had it to ourselves most of time. Great location, not to far from the airport and fab for days out to ZooMarine, Villamora and the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in the sun with plenty to do around you if you want it. Will definately be returning.

A lovely home ideal location, pool on same level as the house just of the patio area, We had 4 children so it was so safe and they enjoyed the pool so much, BBQ available for evenings in. The home was lovely, and clean with all facilities there had a welcome pack for us when we arrived. Local Taxi service was quick and reliable could walk to local mini mart. 5/6 euros for taxi to old town or strip. Would highly recommend and would return.

Great place well appointed with lots of room. It's close to local amenities but far enough away from the hustle and bustle - you need a car to get around however bars and restaurants are a 10 minute walk from the house. Housekeepers are warm and friendly and willing to go the extra yard. Overall a great stay in a lovely place.

we had a lovely time in albuferia. the villa is very spacious and very clean and in a great location, a taxi ride (5 euro)from the strip and old town, the local beach is only about 1/2 hour walk too if you dont mind a walk in the heat. the owner is very helpful and the housekeeper who greeted us was also very informative, she had bought us essential food when we arrived so it was a great help.
we had a great time and we would definatley recommend this villa! -

The site is ideal, especially for families with small children because it is very quiet and very near the center. The staff is very friendly and the housekeeper offers you what you need. The beaches are great and the people generally very friendly. The spacious and comfortable home. It's what I wanted

I arrived at faro airport and as arranged a driver was there to pick me up. Very professional service he even stopped off at a supermarket he knew was open as it was past 8.30pm and many had shut at 8pm because of a publin holiday. The villa was everything i hoped for, we only had 2 adults and 2 children but it would comfortably sleep another 4. The pool was cleaned everyday and was ideal for kids as the deepest end was 5 foot deep. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance and the "old town" was just a short trip by taxi about 5euro. Both beaches the one at Oura and the other at albufeira are really clean and not too crowded even in august. We went to Zoomarine and aguashow and found both to be really good days out, it would be advisable to organize transport to these as it can be hard to get a taxi from these places. All in i would highly recommend the villa i stayed and the general area of albufeira.

The Villa was very clean, spacious and well furnished with all conveniences inc BBQ. Rooms were large and very comfortable with a.C. throughout.Gated entry to pool from convenience of back door.Convenient to all amenieties - walk or short cab trip. Great for New Year break including fireworks on the beach.

The house was close to town yet not so close that we didn't enjoy peace and quiet. We could walk to just about anywhere and there was a bus stop just at the road. The house was so clean and nicely decorated; unlike a hotel, it felt like home. And the owner could not have been more informative nor friendlier. She is a treasure.

from the patio area-couldnt be closer.It has every facility you could wish for modern kitchen with all the appliances,computer, television/radio,washer dryer in downstairs basement,bbq in patio area. -

Beautiful villa, very well maintained and very welcoming. Met at villa by english housekeeper with essentials i.e. milk, bread, tea, biscuits etc, very welcome after the journey. She advised us on all we needed to know and advised us she was only a phone call away if needed, which was reassuring. Albufeira was beautiful especially the Old Town which we visited every night as there was so many beautiful restaurants. Taxi service is brilliant and very reasonable. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely go back.
