Villa Rafaela is a brand-new modern villa, finished to a very high standard with luxurious touches throughout, from a 5-star kitchen and batrooms to centrally-controlled piped music in every room, compatibe with you mp3 player. It's in a great location too, just 1km from the stunning Sao Rafael beach and within easy reach of a choice of restaurants and a mini-market, plus there's complimentary use of a tennis court just metres away.
Sat slightly elevated on a quiet cul-de-sac in the sought after Sao Rafael area of Albufeira, Villa Rafaela is the perfect base for a summer holiday with freinds or relatives. Wiith plenty of entertainment f...eatures on hand and the beach closeby, there's very little reason to venture too far from this beautiful new villa, but, if you do decide to head off into the resort, Albufeira old town is just a short drive away.
The entrance leads from the private, enclosed garden into the open-plan lounge-dining room which has been very tastefully decorated in a mix of pure white, soft peach and vibrant red, to create a striking, yet comfortable living area. There's a large L-shaped leather sofa, TV/DVD and an amazing music system which pipes your music throughout every room, so all you do is turn up the volume in whichever room you choose to be in. There's also an extendable dining table and seating for eight people, and patio doors leaving to the garden and pool.
The red theme continues into the ultra-modern, stylish kitchen which has black granite worktops and chrome appliances, which include an American-style fridge-freezer with filtered water and ice. There's a breakfast table and six chairs, and a patio door leading to the outdoor dining terrace, barbecue and of course the pool, where you can cool off after a stint as head chef!
Several steps lead up to a wc-cloakroom and the two groundfloor double bedrooms. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and twin beds pushed together dressed as doubles. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and a shower, and patio doors leading to the pool. The other bedroom has an en-suite shower bathroom and patio doors which lead to the lawn area at the side of the house.
Upstairs, there are a further three bedrooms - one twin and two singles. The twin room has an en-suite shower bathroom and access to a terrace overlooking the garden. Several steps lead down to the two single rooms, one has an en-suite shower bathroom and access to the terrace, and the other has access to the shower bathroom on the same floor. The landing area between the upstairs bedrooms has large built in wardrobes with plenty of storage space for all the guests on this floor.
The basement has been transformed into a fantastic games room with a pool table and a table-tennis table. An unusual feature in the basement is the windows which look directly into the swimming pool, so game players can keep an eye on sswimmer, or vice-versa! There's also a shower bathroom, so there's no need to leave the room for hours on end, if snooker, pool and table-tennis are your thing!
The owner of the villa also owns a complex of privately owned townhouses at the bottom of the same street as Villa Rafaela. These villas are owned by Portuguese people who keep them for their own holidays, so are very rarely fully occupied. These villas have a beautiful, large, communal swimming pool set in expansive lawned gardens, and a tennis court. As guests of Villa Rafaela you have access to these facilities.
