Set in the grounds of a 'Quinta' (farm) in a peaceful countryside area close to Guia in the Algarve, this brand new 4 bedroom villa, overlooking vineyards, has fabulous views to the mountains in one direction and the coast in the other. Although in a rural area it is only a short car ride to some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches including Galé, São Rafael and Salgados. The village of Guia, famous for the many restaurants that serve the traditional Portuguese chicken dish 'Chicken Piri Piri' is a few minutes away by car. Here you will also find bars, cafes, banks, a pharmacy, local market and local shops. Albufeira and Armação de Pêra are also an easy car ride away, approximately 10 mins. Both are bustling resorts with lots of character, a huge choice of restaurants and bars, and beautiful, long sandy beaches.
In walking distance of the villa is “Algarve Shopping” (less than 10 minutes). Here you will find a large supermarket, designer shops, gift shops, an 8 screen cinema and a food hall. In addition there is a good restaurant just over a 5 minute walk away.
Water parks are close by – Zoomarine where you can swim with the Dolphins is about a 5 minute drive, AquaLand 10 minutes, Slide and Splash and Aqua Show about 25 minutes.
The Algarve is an ideal place for outdoor pursuits much of the year round and many activities are readily available such as horse riding, tennis, cycling, diving, water sports, sailing trips, bird watching and fishing.
Golf courses within a 10-15 minutes car ride include Salgados, O'Connor and Faldo. Others less than 30 minutes are the courses at Vilamoura, the 9 hole courses at Balaia and Pinecliffs, Vale de Milho, Morgana, Pinta and Gramacho.
For those of you who like sightseeing and exploring, then the villa is in an excellent central location from which to do this, it only being a short drive to the main road, taking you west to Lagos, Sagres and Cap St Vincent (the most south westerly point of Europe), east to Faro and Tavira and then on to the Spanish border and north to the historic town of Silves and up to the mountain of Monchique and to Foia, the highest point of the Algarve affording spectacular views from one end of the region to the other.
The villa is in a lovely tranquil position, yet convenient for everything the Algarve has to offer. If you are looking for a holiday slightly away from it all, yet within easy distance of something lively when the mood takes you, then this is a perfect spot.
