There is also a first floor viewing area to take in the magnificent scenery. Linbery in Oakerthorpe is just four miles from Crich and is a brilliant base to visit many attractions. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

If your holiday is aimed at exploring the peak district and taking advantage of the heritage properties around in the area then this location is ideal for your requirements. If you like walking then don't miss the Monsal Trail and you are spoilt for choice with houses and gardens with Chatsworth,Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall all within easy reach. For eating out there are ideal public houses in less than five minutes drive

Linbery was a lovely property in a quiet little cul de sac, with a public house at the end of the road and another within five minute walk. We found it was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was a perfect location for exploring both the peaks and the potteries. Matlock was only a ten minute drive as was Critch Tram Museum. The only downside we could see with this property was the stairs upto the mezzanine which was both steep and open. There was a child gate at the top but there was no way you could fix one at the bottom to stop little ones going up. Whilst this was no problem to us it could be for anyone with children under Five.
