The golden sands of Meia Praia beach are very suitable for families. Here are beach bars, boat trips, fishing, etc. There are several golf courses nearby. All the attractions that the Algarve is renowned for are easily accessible. Lagos, is a very quaint Portuguese town, with cobbled streets, squares, lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets and shops of all types. The service was great,all the information we needed was supplied to make our stay comfortable. The house was very well equipped and was really clean. The location was very central to many facilities like the shops and the beach. I would reccommend this house for families and couples. I would say this was one of the best holidays we have had all thanks to Frankie and Les.

Had a wonderful time at this vacation rental! Very clean, well decorated and a great location. As long as you have a car, you can be at the beach or local town within 20 minutes. This location would not be suitable without a car though. Frankie was very helpful and friendly!

This villa is like home from home,it is exactly as described, the facilities are fantastic.We received a warm welcome from Frankie and nothing was too much trouble. I like the fact that it is tucked away from the main resort, however is only a 5 minute drive when you do want to go into the town. The pool is fantastic and the gardens are so well kept. In all a 5 star villa.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay in Casa Mimosa in the countryside near Lagos. The villa was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Our balcony overlooked a large pool that we put to good use. The owner, Frankie Dunn, was very helpful, going out of her way to make sure we were happy. You'll need a car to get around but that is the best way to see the algarve.

The villas are both well presented, decorated and furnished to a high standard. The property is set in a valley with stunning views from the terraces. It is sheer delight sitting on the terrace eating breakfast or dinner in the setting sun looking across the valley to the sea in the distance. It is the ideal place to relax and is ideally situated to the major roads for visits to the main resorts in the algarve, let alone the golf courses and beaches, that are within 5-10 minutes of the property. Frankie and Les arealways on hand to assist and the welcome pack is thoughtful and welcome.

The whole holiday was brilliant from start to finish, having the clean, comfortable villa as a base for visiting this beautiful part of the algarve. Everything about this holiday was great and we look forward to re-visiting this September. Take the time if you stay here to visit alvore some of the best Seafood I have ever tasted in the seafront restaurants. Also the views from Foig are amazing and it does not take very long to travel there it will take your breath away. If you have youngsters or "big kids" the waterparks are great, definately worth a visit and you can easily spend the whole day there and not get bored.

Casa Mimosa is situated in a small development, with attractive gardens and an impressive communal pool area. The house is extremely well equipped and presented, and
well maintained. The attention to detail and the warmth of reception on arrival, are a great credit to Frankie. There is a very large pleasant beach about 10 minutes away, by car, and the nearest large town is Lagos, which has plenty of bars restaurants, shops and other attractions, all presented in an attractive and tasteful setting. The only possible drawback is the need for a car, as the house is in a quiet rural setting. -

After an easy drive along the motorway from Faro airport we were welcomed at the villa by the owner. We were given a tour of the villa and shown how to use the appliances. Nice touch was the inclusion of some basic food essentials and bottles of wine which meant we could relax, have a snack and settle in.
Villa was spotless and air conditioned, beds were very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was awesome. We will definitely visit again.
