3 bedrooms with double beds for max. 6 persons, 2 bathrooms, big terrace directly over the sea, in the capital Alicante. No car needed. The terrace flat ROCAFEL is the right choice if you want to get to know the “real” modern Spain beyond the tourist centers, but don't want to give up the ocean and beach in the process. As a midsized Spanish city with 350,000 residents and a beautiful old town centre, Alicante offers something for everybody. Alicante - or Alacant – has a historic center (it had been a Roman settlement) and modern infrastructure. The building stands directly on the seaside, you can't get closer!

Practically everyone in Alicante is familiar with the "ROCAFEL". As one of the few housing developments in all of Costa Blanca, it lies directly on the ocean, without through streets in-between. Behind the buildings – and also higher than these – the street from Alicante leads past the “Playa Albufereta” (Albufereta beach) and “Playa San Juan” (San Juan beach). The main street going to Valencia is on the other side of the cliffs from Albufera and is kilometers away. In front of the building, there is only a yard with many palm trees, a tennis court and a parking lot. Therefore, there is no through traffic at all in front of the house. You can simply take the lift 8 floors down and are practically right at the ocean. Here, you will find several small sandy beaches between the breakwaters pouring out of the big cliffs; a couple of hundred metres to the east is the really big sandy beach "Playa Albufereta". There are several pubs in the immediate vicinity. There is also a small supermarket right in the housing development; additional shops can be reached by foot in a few minutes.
There is a tram directly behind the housing development that also takes you to the city centre in no time, or in the other direction to the giant "Playa San Juan", the biggest sandy beach in Costa Blanca, many kilometres long and up to 300 metres wide! The next stop is about 300 metres away.

Additional notes from owner
We have no fixed day of arrival - as far as possible, we arrange things to suit you! The minimum length of stay is 4-7 nights, depending on the season. 50% of the rent is payable on booking, and 50% one month before the beginning of your stay. The deposit is payable when you move in, and if you move out without leaving any defects it is paid back immediately. The final cleaning and any hire fee for linen and towels are payable in Alicante.

Auch ich war schon mehrmals dort, und freue mich auch schon jetzt wieder in diesem Jahr den Urlaub dort mit meiner Familie zu verbringen. Es ist einfach wunderbar, dass man alles ohne auto erreicht. Die Wohnung ist wunderbar und die Terrasse mit direktem Blick aufs Meer einfach traumhaft. Meine Empfehlung ist der Strand von San Juan. Einkaufmöglichkeiten sind auch gar kein Problem, mit der Tram gut und schnell zu erreichen.

After spending three consecutive holidays with two families (4 adults, 2 kids)
in alicante we can fully recommend the 'Rocafel' appartement:
- friendly and helpful housekeeper
- very nice appartement with big terrace and beautiful view
- no need for a car due to good public transport connections
- 15 minutes to San Juan, one of the nices beaches along Costa Blanca
- 10 minutes to city center
- 1 station to next supermarket
- taxi from/to airport is about 25€, direct bus also available
all in all very good value for the price, we're going again next year.

Im Jahre 2011 war ich zum 4. mal im appartement Rocafel und auch fĂĽr dieses Jahr habe ich wieder gebucht Der Empfang
und die Übergabe der Wohnung durch den Vermieter verläuft immer problemlos und freundlich. Auch die Betreuung bei Problemen vor Ort ist immer direkt möglich. Die Wohnung selbst ist mit allen annehmlichkeiten eingerichtet. Ein Internet-Zugang über W-Lan ist nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten nun problemlos möglich.
Die große Terrasse erlaubt einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer und nach alicante. Direkt im Gebäude ist
ein, nach meinem Dafürhalten, sehr gutes Restaurant. Die Verkehrsanbindung der Straßenbahn ist nach 300m zur erreichen und verbindet die Ferienwohnung mit alicante (5 Minuten) und dem weitläufigen Strand der Playa San Juan (10 Minuten). Der aufenthalt ist sehr ruhig, die Nachbarschaft kaum wahrzunehmen. Außerdem besteht überhaupt keine Verkehrs-Lärmbelästigung. Ich kann diese Ferienwohung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
