This immaculate new ground floor two bedroomed apartment is ideally situated on an attractive, small, quiet, complex, only 2 minutes drive from the popular Royal Campoamor Golf Club and 10 minutes drive from the nearest stunning blue flag sandy beach of Campoamor, with it’s attractive marina and promenade and crystal clear sea. Suitable for families, couples and older singles, only three apartments from the lovely communal pool, it is well equipped with all the comforts of home.

The apartment is stylishly furnished and decorated with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom plus a fold up bed enabling it to sleep five comfortably. There i...s plenty of storage space with three double fitted wardrobes , bedside cabinets and two chests of drawers in the bedrooms. The lounge/diner is open plan with the kitchen at one end where you will find everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The kitchen facilities include a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle , hob and full oven and there is a separate utility area with a washing machine. The lounge and dining table comfortably seat four , though extra seating is possible by using the patio chairs. As well as the large flat screen TV with UK SAT TV in the lounge there is also a portable TV with local TV in the double bedroom. For your added enjoyment there is a DVD player with DVDs to borrows and a small library of books . There are two mobile air units providing hot or cold air and four ceiling fans for your added comfort. For winter stays there is an electric fire mounted on the lounge wall for the chillier evenings.

Outside there is a spacious patio with a small table and four chairs and two umbrellas if you should prefer some shade from the endless sunshine. The four sunloungers make this the ideal area to relax and sunbathe . To add to the enjoyment of alfresco living the patio has an open aspect with views of the surrounding woodland, making it very private and not overlooked. The pool is well kept and there is space around it for sunbathing should you prefer a change from the patio or the beach. As there are only 36 apartments in total the pool is rarely crowded and at times you will have it to yourself. For the children you are welcome to borrow the lilos and floats in the apartment. Additional Location Information

Within a few minutes walk you will find several bars, restaurants , internet cafes, local shops and the very reasonable Mercadona supermarket. Two of our favourites are the ‘Vault’ restaurant offering English breakfast from 2.95euros per person and the popular Chinese restaurant ‘Pato Peking’ which offers ‘Menu del dia’ – Menu of the Day, from 5.25euros per person. This is unbeatable value as it includes a three course meal with wine or beer and liquors to finish with!! Nearby there are also two good Indian restaurants and other restaurants offering a wide range of cuisine. Within 10 minutes walk of the apartment there are bars providing regular entertainment, including the popular ‘DJs’ bar which has regular live acts and an Irish bar called ‘Bernie Darcy’s’ which has tribute bands and regular singalongs. If you fancy a treat, why not have a meal at the Royal Campoamor Golf club or even try your hand as a guest on the famous golf course!
There are several car hire offices nearby, but for the more energetic of holidaymakers,there is also cycle hire. For the children there is an area just up from the apartment with swings etc on. For the adults there is a bowls area up the bank in front of our apartment about 5 minutes away and a bowling night in the Rendevous bar on a Thursday night near the apartment run by Jean and Graham who look after the apartment.
However, should you wish to explore further you can easily visit the nearby traditional towns of San Miguel and San Pedro. At San Pedro, only 20 minutes drive away, you can enjoy bathing not only on the stunning beach but also in the mud baths renowned for their health properties. As well as the Campoamor beach resort, there are also the blue flag beach resorts of La Zenia, Punta Prima , Playa Flamenca and Las Palmeras, all only around a 10 minute drive. If you would like a change from their long sandy beaches a visit to the sandy cove Cabo Roig is a must with it’s pretty pine trees and beach bar/cafe, only 10 minutes drive away. There is an excellent bus service only 5 minutes walk away from the apartment where you can catch the bus to various towns and resorts.
The area is very popular with golfers as there are several championship courses in addition to the famous Campoamor golf club, within a 5 minute drive. These include Villamartin and Las Ramblas and if they’re not enough a 30 minute drive will bring you to La Manga where – in addition to golf – you will find world class sporting and leisure facilities. The popular and lively town and resort of Torrevieja with it’s Friday market and marina is only a 10 minute drive away with tennis, go-karting, bicycle hire, water sports, an aqua park, horse riding all nearby. If you fancy more nightlife there are clubs and late night bars in the Playa Flamenca area, around a 10 minute drive away. Ideal for families, couples and older singles, the area has something for everyone and ideal if you like everything within easy reach but don’t need a beach on your doorstep. Within a 5 minute walk there is a view of the sea, just to remind you it’s nearby if you fancy a change from the pool!
The World Health Organisation rate this region as the healthiest in Europe with over 300 days of sunshine every year and an average temperature of 20 you can make the most of the outdoors and enjoy either a restful or active holiday with bars, restaurants and shops for all budgets and tastes. The apartment is situated only 20 minutes drive from Murcia and only 45 minutes drive from Alicante both with their own international airports and interesting cities. There is plenty to see and do should you like to visit either for sightseeing or shopping, or both!
There is space for a car next to the patio and parking on the road PLUS a garage space in the complex. Please note that the apartment isn’t adapted for wheelchairs and though the surrounding area is predominantly flat there are some hilly areas, making it unsuitable for the infirm. We ask that you don’t smoke in the apartment, though you are welcome to on the patio.
Check in is normally after 3pm and check out by 10am, though there is flexibility with this, please enquire. To book we require a third of the rental as a non refundable deposit and the balance one month before travel. A refundable security deposit of £100 is payable with the balance of the holiday. Airport transfers can be arranged if you require them at 30 to 40 euros from Murcia , 17km away and 45 to 55 euros from Alicante 56 km away, per four passengers each way. An end of stay cleaning/laundry fee is payable locally at 50 euros and if you don’t require a transfer but make your own way to the apartment a meet and greet fee of 10 euros is payable. To ensure a relaxing stay you will have the services of an English couple throughout your stay should you have any queries or problems. They will show you round, how things work and talk you through security procedures at the apartment. Please note that if these procedures aren’t adhered to and result in damage and/or theft to the property any loss will be deducted from the security deposit. We ask that you don’t forget your European Health card, which has replaced the E111, you can apply or find out more details online.
