Making reservations was easy. A phone call and your ready to go. The home was clean, spacious, and had every ammenity. The location was perfect. All attractions a short drive for each day we ventured out. The best time we had was laying around the cabin. In the morning out on the deck, with all the mountains and pine trees surrounding us, just lying in the sun. The privacy of the cabin make you feel like it's just you and nature.

My family and I stayed at Solitude from Christmas to New Years and found it charming. We were very pleased with the openness of the house and the fantastic views from the full wall of windows looking out at the mountains. The location is perfect if you are looking for a true Rocky Mountain experience. It is close to Estes Park but it feels like you are in a true mountain getaway. The house was clean and well kept and my teenaged kids liked the wireless internet so they were not too cut off from their friends and Facebook world. Bring a good book and good hiking boots and enjoy.
