Exactly what we were looking for, off the beaten path and out of the city. Cabin was immaculate when we arrived, enjoyed the Direct TV.. we were able to watch the NE game :) I'm assuming in Colorado finding somewhere friendly towards watching a NE game might be a little difficult! Very roomy and beautiful scenery. Overall a very pleasant stay. We loved it! Also got our deposit back within 2 weeks of returning home.

TROY, MISSOURIwe had a fantastic week!
Left on 08/20/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The cabin was just what we wanted for our mountain vacation. It was nice to have home to come back to after a day playing in the mountains. The boys had a great time fishing in the lake behind the cabin and caught the biggest fish of the week right in the back yard. The smaller kids loved the chipmunks, bunnies, and the hummingbirds that were all around. the only bad thing was the ditch in the driveway...Wishe we had known about that before we pulled in the first evening. But, despite that, we hope to return to this cabin again soon. Thanks for everything.

Our 2nd visit to Colorado. This time we rented a cabin from Range Property Management & couldn't be happier. It was very clean & cozy. The price was really reasonable...considering our last visit was in a crowded RV park for the same amount. This cabin was in the wilderness with privacy and only a 10 min. drive to Estes Park. Our main reason for renting this cabin was to be close to Longs Peak Trailhead. Which is about 2 min. away, and yes we made it to the summit! There isn't 1 thing we didn't like about this cabin. We will definitely be returning!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Great Escape-Villa Montana for our honeymoon. We saw a lot of wildlife and even saw a moose in the ponds near by! It was better than staying in a hotel and the location is not too far out of town but just enough to get rid of the city feel. The cabin is very cozy and feels like a home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!!

What a wonderful week. From booking to checking out the process was a breeze and I could not ask for a better stocked, cleaner place to stay. The scenery and wildlife were amazing, we even had a mama bear with two cubs visit one morning and a moose that night. The only negative was having to leave.

Left on 07/29/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Our first day we saw a moose and deer in our yard. Our granddaughter loved the horses in the pasture. By hanging a feeder in the front window we had many hummingbirds for our private viewing. Due to the wet cool weather we were able to have a campfire each night to roast marsh-mellows. We are looking forward to staying at this cabin again.

Naperville, IllinoisVery pleasant
Left on 06/29/2011 for a stay in June 2011
It was a wonderful home. The kitchen was nicley stocked. Very clean. The toilet leaked from the base when flushed, we assume the wax ring needs replacing. The neighbors had a huge picnic across the drive. They did park every where and blocked us in. I assume they are use to the property being empty. They were quiet though and just seemed to eat and be gone. We took a walk instead of driving anywhere that evening. Saw a Moose so well worth the walk. The views are wonderful if you could see them from the windows. The bottom 10ft. of the trees need clearing so you can see the pond, mtns., horses and deers from the kitchen and dining room. It was a wonderfully cozy home. The beds are very comfortable. We had a great time!

Peaceful cabin except for a couple of problems
TexasPeaceful place
Left on 06/23/2011 for a stay in June 2011
The cabin itself was perfect and quiet except for two things. 1) The directions to the cabin were extremely poor. It should have said "at the point where cabin creek road meets highway 7 at 130 degrees, the driveway meets highway 7 at 90 degrees." The directions implied that one turns onto cabin cree road. In addition, the cabin is not 100 yards off highway 7 as stated. It was more like 40-50 yards. We could barely see the street number nailed to a tree from the highway. There is no way we would have been able to read it at 100 yards. 2) Also, the ad said there was a phone at the cabin. It did not work, and even after I left voicemail with the business, no one ever returned my call (I would have received the voicemail when I went into town.) or had the phone fixed. This was a critical problem, since the cell service there was non-existent. I would have felt more comfortable if the cabin phone or our cells would have worked, not necessarily both. We were 911 powerless.

My family and I had a great time at our Great Escape get away. It was very clean and we had plenty of room. We have four children , 16, 12, 10 and 8 . We loved sitting out side enjoying the view . The kids had lots of room to run. Everything was very close, but it was nice to feel like we were away from it all. The piece and quiet was just what we wanted and the Great Escape was the best place to be. We can't wait to go back .

Wilmington, IllinoisVery peaceful and beautiful!
Left on 06/17/2010 for a stay in June 2010
We arrived in the middle of the night so our first experience was not great. It was a little hard to find it in the dark and the cabin had a different name on it so we weren't quite sure if we had found the right place until we tried the lock on the door and got the keys out. Once we had the keys in hand and finally made it inside it was nothing but all uphill from there. When morning came and we looked out the window and saw the lake just a few hundred yards away and were able to see some mountains it was great. We didn't really stay inside to much since we had places to be like the aTV rental place that was just down the road. Then on day two we drove to Steamboat Springs for a cattle drive. But once we found it, it was easy to find again and not to far from Estes Park. Very quiet and peaceful. My kids loved it!

Manager
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We like to hear that your vacation was a success, but the cabin was hard to find. Range has since updated the name to reflect the name on the cabin, we apologize for the confusion. Please remember Range will turn the porch light on if necessary. This year there is a TV and satellite service available, a wonderful upgrade.
We hope you visit again.

This little cabin is so nice I don't want to tell you about it & let the secret out. We'd be really bummed if we went to book it next year and it was all booked up!
The cabin was just perfect get away about 10 miles South of Estes Park. Close enough you could go in and do the touristy things in town easily but far enough away you could enjoy a nice day in the mountains. The cabin was rustic enough to be a nice get away but still had all the basics that you needed.
Things were pretty well spelled out in the property manual that was left at the cabin.
When we were there we saw a bear walk by on the property and go down to the lake which was in view.
The property is right off highway 7 - it was a little close for our liking but the road noise was minimal (no different than a cabin 1 mile off the highway we'd stayed in before).
We look forward to staying at this property again.
