Dallas, TXWow! Awesome & Rare!
Left on 08/21/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Fantastic, Awesome and Rare are the best words to describe our experiences at this magnificent property! I never write a review before the vacation is over, but this is the exception, rather than the rule! One of the best features of this property is that it has all the conveniences of home, but it is secluded enough that you feel that you are "getting away from it all!" The house is superbly furnished. It has a fully furnished kitchen with all the aV accoutriments necessary if you have teenagers and need to keep in touch with business back home! It is just a few feet from the beach, which makes it wonderful if you have kids! It even has the bonus of a bell in the driveway to "call the troops home" from the beach for lunch or dinner! It has provided us a wonderful vacation, one which we would like to repeat! If you have kids, this is especially "kid and pet" friendly! It has a hose outside the front of the house to clean everyone off before going in. If you have tweens, as I do, I felt perfectly safe in letting my kids go to the beach without my direct supervision! If you have small children, the water is not cold as it is very shallow at least 100 feet out! No scarey fish around! If you have a pet, there is a fence around the property along with a small tub your pet can get cool in or get a drink from! With a microwave, direct tv two complete baths, wifi and full washer and dryer, this is the place to vacation on a budget! Fantastic, Awesome and Rare...a tremendous value for all that you get!

Left on 05/23/2011 for a stay in May 2011
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the house. Very neat and clean and all the supplies we needed were there. Even lots of towels. We brought our own because we thought there would be a couple for showers and that's it but not true! Beds are great. Slept better than home.

Left on 05/09/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Our stay at alligator Point was a very enjoyable one from the time we got there. Until the last day when we had to head for home. The cottage was very cozy and the furnishings were very quaint. Everything that we needed was there and if it wasn't we found what we needed in one of the small towns nearby. We went fishing almost every day and yes did catch some big ones. The beach with its white sand was beautiful and the temp. were between 80-90. We enjoyed the quite time and also the time spent reading. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer. But we will be back next year and look forward to our next stay.

Points to View was great. The house was cozy and comfortable. The beach was terrific. We usually had it to ourselves and there were dolphins playing in the water every day - not even 20 feet away! This alone made the 17 hour trip from Ohio worth it. Great place to relax, take your dog to the beach and let her swim and play or take a walk down the sandy, white beach. Lots of places to pick up fresh seafood not too far away. The bedrooms could use some storage for your clothes, but we made it work. And maybe a hammock for the yard.

Minnetrista, MNA Great Winter Get away to a quiet beach locations
Left on 03/21/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We enjoyed our visit very much. We were searching for a Pet Friendly, beach front location on the ground floor. The Point has a fenced yard, which was a great place for our Siberian Husky(Sheba) to hangout. We had trouble getting Sheba to come inside at night. 100-150 feet to the beach and the neighbors were very nice and also Pet Friendly. The Point is in a nice location on the Forgotten Coast, with great hiking in the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, kayaking in the area rivers and great, reasonably priced seafood dining. The house is comfortable and nicely setup for either the weekend, week or long term guest. We spent a month and were very sad to leave.

"points to view" is a "funky" old Florida cottage( Imean that in a most positive way), we had all the modern conveniences in a Restfull atmosphere. My wife and I and our two dogs enjoyed our two week stay very much. The dogs really enjoyed the fenced yard and their walks on the beautiful beach. The remote atmosphere of bald point is very appealing. And restful. We'll be back

Just spent the month of Jan. at 6 Bass St. and what a wonderful visit, even if it was a little chilly. The house is set up perfectly for one or the entire family. I really enjoyed the back deck with the sun warming me up every day. I will miss this place, and will think about it untill my return, thankyou so much.

This house has many great qualities from the closeness to the beach, which is actually closer than the pictures show, the coziness of the house, the easy entrance, quiet days and nights, and so much more. If someone wants a quiet and relaxing getaway, this is a great one. Sydney was available for any needs or questions I had, she went above and beyond to make sure my stay was completely enjoyable, as well as ensured my young handicapped daughter was able to enjoy her stay as well. This area has a lot to explore if you like nature, or collecting shells, or watching the crabs in the back yard, which I found hilarious. This is a great find!

Peace and Beauty at the Beach

First of all, if you like the bright lights, large crowds, and hectic pace of many places in Florida, then this is not the place for you. The person who owns this home is a great communicator and is friendly and responsive. She is quite willing to consider reasonable requests.
In alligator Point, you will be able to see the stars twinkle in the sky, feel the peace of an almost rural area, and enjoy the quiet, peaceful calm, especially at night.
There are small towns nearby where you will find places to shop and buy food. There are a few restaurants nearby, and while the local one we found was rather quaint, the food (all three meals) was wonderful. In fact, it was so good that we went there many times during our week's stay. We also enjoyed purchasing fresh seafood from local seafood shops to cook for ourselves.
The house is beautifully decorated and is warm and inviting; so much so that it is like visiting in someone's home. Everything one would need is there, from the equipment for cleaning to a wonderful kitchen equipped with items we would all wish to have in our own kitchens.
Animals are allowed (a fenced in backyard is definitely a plus for a pet owner). Perhaps, if I just had to choose the least-liked thing, it would be the lack of a larger grocery store in that general area. There are two smaller stores (with such friendly people) and a well-stocked bait and tackle shop. Luckily, there are larger stores not too far away.
In a week or so, my husband and I will be using one of our Timeshare weeks. We will be visiting in NC, quite close to the ocean. I know it will be lovely but if we could choose another place instead, we would be on our way to alligator Point to stay in a lovely, cinderblock house in Panacea, Florida.
