Cabins 28 and 29 have recently undergone complete remodels. These have now become two of our most popular cabin rentals. Each cabin has all new furniture, appliances, floors, and fixtures. It feels more like a home than a mountain cabin, offering plenty of elbow room and all of the conveniences of a home. There are two private bedrooms downstairs, each with their own sink and vanity. We loved our stay at 3 Rivers!! We stayed in February, and the drive up to Crested Butte to ski was very easy. The cabin was very clean, with plenty of room. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable about the area. We will definatly stay again the next time we are in the area, no matter what time of the year.

The renovations make this cabin what it is. I have stayed at a comprable cabin in the area that was not updated and has less square footage for the same price. The rooms were very spacious and the loft was bigger than expected. The hot tub was piping hot which was great for the time of year I was there (February). Each room has its own thermostat, even the bathroom, made it very cozy in the winter. The only reason I did not give this cabin a five star rating was the cook top had been badly abused, and the dishwasher did not seem to work properly.

We have rented from 3 rivers 4 years. The cabin is great for our needs.The resort takes great care of us. Highly recommend 3 rivers for al times of the year.

The National Forest & reservoirs around the "resort" are fabulous. Much to see and do. However, this is not really a resort but a comfortable place to stay between Gunnison--where we were taking an 18 y.o. to college--and Crested Butte. Great photo ops. Only so-so restaurants and for entertainment, you have to love nature.

The cabin was very nice. The shared hot tub was just out the back of the cabin. The staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed the Duckie trip. Great trip for our family!

We always enjoy coming to Colorado. The cabin was great. Enough room for everyone that came with us. The grandkids really enjoyed the upstairs. Will continue coming to Colorado. Just wished it wasn't so dry but, I know you have no control over that. Rafting was fun also.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and inviting. We stayed 3 nights and it was quiet and peaceful. The location was awesome, in fact we scouted the other cabins on site for our next trip and they were all just as inviting and peaceful. The resort itself is well laid out, with the ammenities, and the ribs at the smokehouse were incredible. The staff was friendly and helpful in all area's, (office, store, gift shop, smokehouse and fly shop) in fact the guy's at the fly shop gave us directions to some of the best fishing around for my grandson to catch his first fish. I most definatly recomend this place, and will be back myself. In fact, I believe this is my new spot. If I'm not in town, this is where you'll find me. Thanks to all at 3 rivers resorts.

We have a terrific time staying in your cabins. We stay during Elk/Deer season. It is soo refreshing to return the the cabins.

We've stayed at Three Rivers Resort for years and keep coming back. It's close enough to Gunnison for small-town shopping; beautiful scenery, great fishing, and close to Crested Butte ski area. The cabin we stayed in had two bedrooms, each with a sink, and a huge loft with two beds and lots of space. Fully equipped kitchen; satellite TV; shared hot tub behind cabin. Nice restaurant and sports bar within walking distance.

We have been coming to 3 Rivers for about 10 years. I always enjoy bringing newcomers to almont (Three Rivers) because I know they will have a great time. The cabin was outstanding as always and the surrounding area is incredible.

Living in Cabin 28 during our stay in the Gunnison/Taylor River/Crested Butte area was like "icing on the cake". We had room enough for each of us to have our space, the kitchen facilities enabled us to share the kitchen duty work load, and the other amenities all worked together to make our family vacation with our grown sons and grandson most enjoyable. We hope to do it again.

Everyone at Three Rivers Resort is as friendly and helpful as one can get. We love staying at the resort and my husband, dog, and our two friends have been staying every year for about the past 8 years or so.
