Littleton, COWonderful experience!
Left on 09/14/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Staying at Three Rivers Resort was the best experience we've had in a long time: what a great value! Our cabin was roomy, clean and way better than what the pictures show--everything is updated and the cabin was bigger than it looked on the internet--the pictures don't do it justice. The staff were friendly and helpful and it is a great place to take your dog! Oh and their bar is awesome--IPa on tap and their food is completely delicious--and I'm very picky. Three Rivers is an easy jaunt from Crested Butte, Gunnison, and Taylor Res. We will definitely be staying there again and we can't wait to see it in the winter. Definitely a hidden gem!! :)

My husband and I found Cabin 3 at the Three Rivers Resort to be clean, comfortable and accomidating for 2 to 4 people. This cabin had a full refrigerator, stove, microwave, and kitchen table. There is a small TV, which served its purpose. Who wants to watch TV in the mountains anyway! The cabin was easy to access and had plenty of parking. This cabin was not right on the river (we knew this when we reserved it), but it took all of 1 minute to walk across the parking lot to the river. You can pay more and get a cabin that backs up to the river and they looked newer, but that really wasn't a prioriety for us. The resort is at a decent location just off the main highway. We didnt notice the traffic noise from the main highway, but there is a road that runs right in front of the cabin that has a good flow of vehicles throughout the day. It dies down in the evening and the noise from it really wasnt an issue. It isnt a high end cabin, but I didnt pay for a high end cabin, and it was exactly what we thought it would be (actually it was bigger). There is a restaurant on the property that smelled really good and always had several customers. We choose to grill and use the picnic table at our cabin, so I cant tell you what the food or service was like, but I wouldnt have been afraid to try it. I found everyone we dealt with at the resort to be polite and helpful. There is a store that you can buy last minute items at on the property. No complaints from us on our stay. I would definately stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. Check out the Taylor Reservoir right up the road, it is beautiful.

Italy, TxGreat place to stay for fishing and rafting.
Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We have been coming here for 25 years and have always had a great time. When we get tired of catching so many fish from rivers, streams, lakes and beaver ponds we start doing day trips. We have done aspen, Leadville, Crested Butte, Blue Mesa, Marble and Tin Cup( with it's unique cemetary). It will take you years to do them all. If you want to do circle tours you go thru passes. Some of these my wife will go thru again and some she would divorce me first. Make sure you raft the upper Taylor, it's beautiful and exciting without being scary. Sole gripe? Most of the units don't have a/C. They heat up during the day and cool off slowly at night. Bring a box fan to suck in cool air thru a window.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant. The grounds were well kept and the staff was friendly. The location is convenient. The temps were higher than normal so it would have been nice to have had a fan in our room.

This year we picked Three Rivers Resort as our Family reunion destination. We stayed one night in cabin #3 followed by 3 nights in the main House 3 doors down. Both locations were clean and comfortable. I like the fact we were across from your small store / offices. We had many enjoyable meals in the restaurant and many glasses of IPa. The great customer service truly complimented the overall experience. The breakfasts offered in the morning are both convenient and affordable. Thanks for supplying the wireless network too. We went rafting one morning on the lower Taylor River. This was my kid's first rafting experience. I must say, our guide Justin made the trip enjoyable and memorable. I ended up purchasing the CD to record the event. Your resort is a beautiful destination that we would definitely return to. Thanks for creating an overall pleasurable experience for me and my family.

Nothing fancy here, but the cabin was clean, comfortable, furnished very well with all the kitchen necessities, at a good price! A little disappointed that we didn't have easy, good access to the river, but we spent most of our time in the beautiful, nearby Crested Butte mountains anyway. We've rafted down the Taylor River via Three Rivers Resort in the past and it's fun and beautiful scenery.

The beds were horrible. Other than that, the resort was outstanding. The food is great, the service is great, the fishing was a blast, and the guide and fly shop knowledge was better than anywhere. I highly recommend this camp for anybody. We will return, but might bring a camping matress.

We enjoyed our two night stay in cabin 3. Wish it had been closer to the river, but it was quiet, even by the road.
Wish there had been a tub as well as a shower in the bathroom.
We did a little cooking and we found everything we needed. Nice to have a microwave as well as a stove/oven. Nice to have a good-sized refrigerator.
Service was friendly and helpful as well as welcoming.
We want to come again! -

It was very clean, and had a family feel to it. We have stayed here before and I love the upgrade they have done. We love our TV and they had a flat screen in our room this year. The resort is a very family friendly place. Fantastic river rafting, great restaurant and lots of fun to be had by all. The scenery around the lodge is gorgeous. Defiantely the Place to go.

Colorado SpringsGreat get-away.
Left on 07/13/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Initially, upon entering the cabin (probably because it was so closed up) my wife detected the slight odor of gas that spooked her a bit and she wanted to change cabins, which was not possible. We called the desk and a maintenance person checked it out but found nothing out of normal. I'm a little surprised that the oven, unlike the burners, does not have an automatic igniter, but does have a thermocouple that normally goes to a lighted pilot flame. The pilot, in this case, was not on so ... perhaps a little gas had escaped that direction.
Overall, the maintenance of your property and the cabin is absolutely superb. A fun place to stay and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
You might consider lowering the temperature on the hot water as initially turning on the shower ... the water could be very, very, hot. But we adjusted. -

The cabins were clean and just as advertised. We arrived one day early and they were able to put us up in cabin 3. The next day, we moved to 30 for the remainder of the stay. We were well satisfied. One suggestion: Improve the internet signal to make it available in the cabins. It's a bit of trouble to have to go to the store for a connection.

3 Rivers Resort is a very nice place. Loved your restaurant service, especially the breakfast. Tell the Chef the NC guys enjoyed his fine cooking. Cabin 3 was a quaint cabin. Very nice, but I wish it had a microwave. Only had two nights stay as we wrapped up our motorcycle tour of Colorado by riding over Scoffield Pass to Crystal Mill to Marble to Redstone and back to Crested Butte via CR12. We had to leave for North Carolina the next day. Wished we could have stayed another week. Maybe next year......

We have been going to Three Rivers for the past 4 years and always have Cabin 59 and Cabin 3 - The service is outstanding along with the friendly staff they all accomadate whatever needs you require. As I said it is home away from home. Location and the full amenities that are offered are not lacking. There would be nothing I liked least and the best is the feeling of family you get with your stay. Thank you the opprotunity to let you know, couldn't make it this year, but already have it booked for 2010 both Cabins 59 & 3. See you then.

Mark and staff were more than accommodating! The cabins were very clean and comfortable. Prices were very reasonable. The only but's were the excesses of a wedding party. They did end promtly at 10pm, it was just the noise the 6 or 8 hours previuos that were a sore spot. The traffic through the drive, local turn around I guess, was a little worrisome. The but's weren't even close enough to being so bad we won't be back. We will be, and will recommend it!!

Left on 07/02/2009 for a stay in June 2009
My wife and I and a friend recently stayed at the
Three rivers Resort in Almont for the first time.
What a treat. The Resort is conveniently and
centrally located between Gunnison and Crested
Butte giving us quick access to the hi-way and our
daily activities. We just loved the clean cozy
cabin on the river front that we rented and the
screen doors on the cabin took us back to the old
farm house we all knew. The kitchen was fully
stocked and ready to go. Great hot showers and if
we needed anything it was just steps out the front
door to the general store/restaurant/bar where
Mark and the friendly staff were waiting to
eagerly assist.. Totally affordable rates. They
were glad to give us a discount as we were there
for a local festival. Be sure and try it out,you
wont be disappointed.
