Left on 10/04/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed 3 nights in late September. Nice cabin, warn, clean, & everything you could need. Only thing...full size bed. A queen would have been nice. Most couples these days are using queen or king...hard to go back the the full size. To upgrade to a cabin with a queen size bed was about $75 a night more...that's a lot! Almont is beautiful. We ate at the restaurant across the road...great food & service! The resort BBQ place was already closed for the season. This is our 2nd stay with Three Resorts & we will be back again next summer.

Left on 08/30/2012 for a stay in August 2012
From the moment we checked in our stay at the Three Rivers Resort was fantastic. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and great for our small family (two adults and an infant). The resort is ideally situated between the communities of Gunnison and Crested Butte literally at the point where the East and Taylor Rivers meet to form the Gunnison River. We chose the location for the fishing opportunities and it couldn't have been a better, more accomodating stay. We will definitely return to the Three Rivers Resort.

Very nice Spacious cabins, they have everything you need to cook and clean, but why would you need to when they have a great restaraunt on the Resort grounds. Nice beer selection too. All kinds of activities from rafting and fishing to hiking and 4x4ing.
So if you are going to this area of Colorado and are in need of a location that has it all for the whole family, this is it!!!

This was a great place to stay with our 3 boys, ages 2,3 and 5. They loved the playground and the grounds. It is so close to fun things to do like hiking and fishing. We are going to make this an annual trip!

wonderful as usual as we visit usually 2 or 3 times a year however there was a wedding party this time that was pretty loud and they were playing games right in front of our cabin while we were trying to barbacue and eat dinner. a little annoying i will definitely ask when making reservations again if there is a wedding party going on and change to another day.

Great cabin for deer and elk hunting. Easy access to the mountains for 4 wheelers. The staff is more than willing to help with your specific needs. This is the third year using this facility and will continue to use them in the future.

My wife and I spent 6 days in cabin 10 at Three Rivers Resort and were very pleased with the experience. The resort was quiet, uncrowded, and allowed us to relax and spend time with our son. I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone. Also, I want to thank the personnel at the office who were always very courteous and most helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was clean and convenient. We would really have appreciated two comfortable chairs for sitting and reading. It was also hard to watch the TV from the futon.

Great location for fishing, rafting, hiking, photography, scenic drives! The staff is nothing but awesome, they did an excellent job to make my stay great. Did a rafting trip with them, had laughs and memorable experiences. Met friendly travelers there too. For fishing, nothing beats this area. We stood in one of the cheapest cabins and unfortunately the beds were a bit short, I had to sleep diagonal but I'm a tall guy. My wife took the other bed because of that. Other than that, I had really no gripes. We cooked in the cabin, and had a great time. I can imagine that some of the nicer ones probably had better beds? Curled up it wasnt an issue.

We have stayed at 3 Rivers before in other newer cabins and have enjoyed ourselves each time. The Resort is always friendly and accomodating. We never have any issues with check in or check out and are thrilled with what the cabins offer. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very clean. We will stay there every year for our trip. The floor was uneven and the carpet was a little old but no complaints for the price that we paid and we still thought it was quaint! My daughter was stoked with the tetherball court!

We only got to stay a short time, but the weather was beautiful. The rivers were running a bit high for fishing, but Spring Creek Reservoir and Lake Irwin were good. The cabin was great, the food in the Smokehouse was good and the beer was cold. We'll be back.

Left on 02/11/2009 for a stay in September 2008
This was a great stay for the money. Since we use to live in Gunnison, we just love Almont and the Three Rivers Resort. Our family had a great rafting trip down the Taylor River too. Our guide was all about us having a great time and safe. The staff at the 3 Rivers is really friendly. We will be back next year...
