Cabins 31-38 are identical styles. These standard "mountain chalets" offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect units for families. There is a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. The kitchen has modern appliances and the vaulted ceiling gives the living area a roomy feel. Outside there is a large covered deck with patio furniture.
*Note of caution for small children: the steps going... up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping area is low enough for a toddler or small child to be able to climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.

For a true Colorado experience you have to stay at 3 Rivers.
We have been going to Colorado for over 30 years and there isn't a better place to stay in Colorado. They have trails to ride, you can go to aspen, Marble, view the Devils Punch Bowls and more. If you like to fish, it's all there!

My husband is visually impaired. He was able to walk to a fishing site. I could go off with my camera and not worry.
We liked our cabin. I will ask for a river front next time. I do not recommend using the loft if your guest is 6 ft. 3 inches. Lofts are great for short children.
I recommend you reserve a float and dine trip in advance. You must have four people and our other couple had to cancel.

My brother and the immediate family has been staying at your resort for a number of years. this was the first time i was able to experience "Alomnt" it was wonderful. My doctor kind of gave me a clearence to go, and we had a wonderful time. All of your staff was most wonderful and very informative. Want to thank all of you for the wonderful cabins and the way we were treated by the staff. Thank you so much. Looking forward to 2013 stay with the Chronister Family. (if you can stand us). Thanks again for the wonderful time.

Fantastic location right on the Taylor River. Stayed in a kitchenette unit that helped save money on restaurant food. Fly shop on site was very helpful, even though we didn't take a chartered trip. They helped find locations that were good for my son and I to fish, but had excellent hiking opportunities for my wife and daughter. We took a rafting trip on the Taylor River direct from their river service, which was fantastic. The rental unit needed a little TLC (chipped countertop), but it was very clean and quiet.

We had a great time in almont, the staff was great, cabin was clean and comfortable. Luke was an awesome guide on our raft trip. The guys in the fly shop were great without being pushy, especially for beginner flyfisherman, gave us some great tips as to what to use and where to go. We actually booked a horse ride trip up the road at Harmels, and when they overbooked and canceled us the night before, the guy at the front got us on standby at Fantasy Ranch in CB, we got in and we had an awesome experience there as well. Great time would like to go back every year if we could.

The 1 bedroom with loft was perfect for our family with a 13 and 10 year old. They loved having their own twin bed in the loft - it was like a little secret hideaway for them and the fact that they couldn't stand up in the loft made it more fun. The porch was great. The store had a bit of everything -very handy!! And the best thing was that whitewater rafting left right from the resort-this was everyone's favorite activity - and Rob, our rafting guide was phenomenal!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay in cabin 33. I have 4 children and we all fit comfortably in the cabin. We met up with family at the resort who have been staying there yearly for several years now. Our only regret not staying an extra day or 2. Two nights are not enough. I would really like to praise the service. Everything was provided, and beyond check-in and check-out never had a concern or problem, but I felt confident these would be addressed if needed. They even mailed my son's sweatshirt to my house that we left after check-out free of charge. If you are looking for a beautiful location in a friendly, quiet area with all the comforts of home, I highly recommend this location!

I love this area. There are so many things to do and these cabins are located in the center of it all. You can go several different directions to fish. The resort offers many activities also, such as rafting. We just didn't stay long enough to participate in many of the fun things offered. I would love to go back anytime!

We enjoyed the cabin over our Thanksgiving holiday. It was nice and quiet, in a beautiful part of Colorado. The cabin was the perfect size for us. No phone, television, computer or radio made the stay very special.
The back room was a little chilly, but it was winter in the rockies.
Wonderful surroundings, but accommodations were not authentic

Perhaps next time I could try different accommodations on your property. To
begin with, I was put in cabin 34 and it had a strong animal smell. Strong
enough to prompt me to ask for different accommodations. Cabin 33 was
much cleaner smelling. However, we were a little surprised that these cabins
were "plastic." We thought it would be more authentic.
We did love the surroundings -- the view out the front window was fantastic,
especially when it snowed. We also enjoyed viewing the stars at night.
I am curious to know if other accommodations you provide would be more to
