(Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
Cabins 31-38 are identical styles. These standard "mountain chalets" offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect units for families. There is a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. The kitchen has modern appliances and the vaulted ceiling gives the living area a roomy feel. Outside there is a large covered deck with patio furniture.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers Resort. We brought our dog and were given a cabin on the end which allowed our dog some freedom away from other cabins and cars. The cabin (#38) was clean and perfect for our weekend stay. We didn't need much in the way of kitchen supplies, but all the essentials were there. We will definitely remember Three Rivers Resort the next time we need a place to stay in the area!

We've been staying at Three Rivers Resort for years, and have stayed in several different style cabins. The people at the front desk are always friendly and greet you like an old friend. This "chalet" cabin was fun to stay in: it has a great covered porch with table and chairs for enjoying morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening over dinner. There's an additional cement patio with a barbeque. The inside was perfect for us (2 adults) but could accommodate several more people. It was very clean, with great countertop space, full-size range and refrigerator, satellite flat-screen TV, and very comfortable bed. The location allowed us to ride our Polaris Ranger right from the cabin onto mountain trails; we also saw lots of people with dirt bikes and bicycles enjoying the roads around the resort. Three Rivers has a cute outdoor bar/cafe, and serves pretty good food (the ribs were fantastic). If you like fishing it's close to the river, some of the cabins are just a few steps away. Summer or winter we've always had a great time here.

For the money, this was a great rental. It was great that we could bring our two labradors but wish that there was more space on the grounds to walk the dogs since the nearby streets are too busy for this purpose. The cabins are a little too close to one another but considering the rental rate, kitchenette, sleeping options and cleanliness, this was well worth the money.

We had a great stay. The kids loved having the loft area for themselves. The cabin is well-designed for its size. Everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves was available. The location was great as well. It was easy to get to Crested Butte and the Gunnison area. We are very glad that we stayed here and would stay there again.

We had the Mountain Chalet which had a loft but there are so many different choices of cabins it might be fun to try other styles next time. And the Rafting guides Vito and Garrett made our first raft trip fun! Fishing, hiking, rafting -beautiful area. We look forward to trying out the barbecue at the smokehouse sometime. (it was closed for the season) Plenty of clean towels and pans, dishes, soap,etc to allow us to enjoy our own food in our cabin.

This was the first time that we visited Three Rivers Resort in Almont, CO. We came with the recomendation of friends and were truly satisfied with the cabin and the location. All of the employees at Three Rivers were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the fishing, hiking and white water rafting. We had a great time and are sure you will too!
