DublinThoroughly enjoyed by all the family

The house 2E1 was really top class, all mod cons, air conditioning, H&C;, showers, excellent kitchen, + internet access. Location/pools all ideal, lovely setting. All five of us, from ages 8 to 50+ had only good things to say.
The one issue we had about internet connection was resolved promtly by the local management team.
In a perfect world, there would have been a small place nearby for the kids to kick a football - they did, however, develop their street soccer skills, albeit on steeply sloped roads! Perhaps, too, if the air conditioning was extended to the smaller bedrooms, just to cool them a little before retiring.
All in all, top marks. -

We cannot sing high enough praise for our accommodations there. I was particularly struck by the well-appointed interiors and grounds at Fuentes. The views are absolutely spectacular (to witness: we have hundreds of photos!), including the lovely infinity swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Given the opportunity, we would return in a flash!!! (ps - dealing with the owners was easy and very pleasant).

UKGreat family holiday
Left on 07/08/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We stayed for a week while attending my brothers wedding. We have two young Children and also my cousin and her partner. There was plenty of room for us all an 3 good sized bahrooms. The swimming pools were great and the views were lovely. I do think this appartment is best if you have a hire car as it is situated up steep hill and on the outskirts of town.

The view from this villa is breathtaking...it overlooks the med and the mountains. The villa is great for a big family four big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Would definitely recommend this one.

The villa is absolutely beautiful... views are fantastic. Everything was spotless and the accommodations great and comfortable. Back patio was ideal for evening dinner outside. Not noisy at all... Almunecar daily market and downtown was only 5 minutes away. Pool was pristine and cooling during some of the hot days we stayed.

CambridgeA lovely villa in a genuinely Spanish resort
Left on 09/03/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We found the villa well-equipped, very clean and spacious, considering we were a party of nine people. As we were two separate families, each with children, we could have done with another shower room, as the ensuite bathroom was only really available to one family, which left just one shower over bath for the other family - unfortunately this particular shower also didn't work very well as part of the fitting was broken. Apart from that, the villa was very nicely furnished and comfortable.
We mainly enjoyed eating outside on the patio with stunning views of the mountains and sea.
We enjoyed the pools - the adults preferred the infinity pool, but the children enjoyed both. Neither pool was overcrowded, considering we were staying in peak holiday season.
A car is important as it is a very steep climb up to the villa, and it would be a bit of a trek into Almunecar without one. The location gave us quick and easy access to the main roads for sight-seeing. We loved visiting Granada and the Alhambra, but also Nerja, and up into the mountains to Jete, Otivar and the hot springs at Alhama de Granada. We also enjoyed a BBQ and Flamenco show at the Venta Luciana in Torrecuevas.
We found this area of the coast very Spanish in character - most of the other holidaymakers were Spanish.
We would recommend this villa to anyone who would like a relaxing holiday, in a not too-touristy area. -

Chicago, Illinois USAEaster Holiday in almunecar
Left on 08/17/2010 for a stay in April 2010
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely holiday in the Wells home this past Easter. The home features a magnificent ocean view and easy access to almunecar as well as a number of excellent destinations for day trips (ie. Comares and Granada).
The home has a very nice layout and can easily accommodate a large family group. The pool and the patio wonderfully facilitate days of relaxing with a good book. We were totally pleased and look forward to a return visit someday.
