The property is in a secluded forested area along Bear Creek, which provides a view of lovely waterfall when not covered with snow. It's about a about five minute drive to the Alpine Meadows ski resort - ten minutes to Squaw Valley, and about fifteen minutes to Lake Tahoe. In summer months you can enjoy local hikes, swimming in the Bear Creek pond, day trips to Lake Tahoe, or just sunning on the back deck.
