The bedroom has a king size bed (which can also be set up as 2 twins) and the cozy living room has an electric fireplace to snuggle up next to on the queen sofa sleeper and full size Murphy bed. ...me and my middle aged college buddies love Blackjack condo for many reasons...but unit 2B is particularly great because the laundry, the sauna, an extra shower, and an extra bathroom are just across the hallway...so if you squeeze four demanding men into a one bedroom condo, there is always a facility available for anyone. The transportation to the alta base is very consistent and reliable thanks to Joel and Max at alta Shuttle...great guys, professional and relaxed drivers...convenient to ski in Snowbird as well, with a bit of pushing on the cat track..the price is right if split up properly, and if you buy food, the unit is well appointed for real cooking...the staff is helpful, but quiet and quite invisible...of particular excellent advice was from the woman in charge of cleaing, who's husband runs snow operations at Snowbird, and helped us plan our trip back to the valley while navigating a major dumping snowstorm...thanks to everyone, we will be back...

Very close to snowbird trail, ski-in/out. Caretaker, Mindy was very pleasent and helpful. All you coul dpossibly need for a ski vacation, with the exception of a hot tub.

The service was great. Nice location. The problem is the unit smelled. Don't know what the smell was, kind of musty. Airing it out did not seem to work. Both my husband and I had runny eyes and sneezing when in the unit. At first, we thought we were ill but then we noticed we did not have symptoms when we were out of the unit. Mold?

We at Alta Chalets and Blackjack Condominiums pride ourselves in running a small, cozy, Mom& Pop ski lodge. As such, we are always interested in hearing what our customers have to say about their experiences with us. Although we feel that our cleaning crew leaves our units looking and feeling clean and fresh, we took this comment under advisement. Although the Blackjack building is located in an unusually dry environment (we are at an 8,500 foot elevation) we inspected unit 2B for mold and we have had the carpets in unit 2B professionally cleaned since this guest’s stay. We were dismayed that our first communication about this issue came from a guest in the form of a written review after their stay. Had we known one of our guests was experiencing any form of discomfort during their stay, we would have been able to assess the issue when it was taking place, and we would have been able to make some efforts to give our guest the experience we promise. We hope to have the opportunity to host this guest again sometime in the future so that we have the chance to show them that we do what we can to make things right.

a great stay at BlackJack 2B...service was invisibly perfect...folks were there if you needed them, but we really didn't need anything at all..laundry was literally outside our door, and the sauna/shower/bathroom right across the hall was quite convenient since four adult males were sharing the condo, and the second bath came in handy. Morning sunrise revealing the peaks across the street, as pink and yellow sky emerged on the wind blow crags and chutes...highlight was watching the boys trigger avalanches just outside our window during the Interlodge morning...shuttle very convenient and reliable, but if you want first tracks on a powder morn, don't wait for shuttle...take the 8 minutes walk to Collins just out back on the cat track...beautiful way to start a day...

Managers were very nice. Not a true ski in or out from either alta or snowbird .
Bus service to alta was excellent. No service to snowbird could ski to snowbird after walking down the road. Big disappointment no hot tube.
Kitchen well equipment beautiful view of mts from front window and bedroom.
Really need a wad car. Both alta and snowbird had great snow on blues and some blacks. Cool tunnel at snow bird with conveyer belt. Stop at whole foods for grocers before heading up canyon. -

Although the unit is a little dated, there is plenty of room for four people. The sauna and laundry are right across the hall from the unit. ski in/ski out is to Snowbird and is approximately 300 yards from the building. If it has been snowing you can ski almost all the back to the condo which I did. You ski right down to the lift ticket office and gondola. All in all, if you are interested in two awesome mountains and 4500+ acres, this is your Mecca. I loved it, then again, I am more concerned with skiing than amenities.

Unit was very clean and large and quiet at night. Bedding very comfy. Best part was that the property manager, Renata (and Matt), were very welcoming, friendly and helpful with even the smallest request. That kind of human touch made the whole experience more enjoyable. Good for either a family or couples. I would definitely stay at BlackJack again. There is good parking and convenient access to everything.

We spent an absolutely wonderful week at Alta and already reserved
the apartment for next year. The staff went out of the way to help
when we needed advise, or information. The only issue with the
particular apartment is that the living room furniture is not very
comfortable, We tried to reserve another apartment in the same
condo, because everything else, including access to the ski area is
perfect.

The Condo was OK nothing to jump up and down about. Very few
amenities other than a community sauna. The TV was old and the DVD
tried to eat my DVD's. The Condo is outdated.
The location and the staff where great. The price I thought was high.
Transportation to skiing is very good but nothing after 5 pm.
As stated the staff was great. The location is not really ski in / ski out
but it is close to both Alta and Snowbird.
I don't know if I'd stay again.
