Home away from Home
Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient having the folks who maintain the property living in the very separate lower level. When we had a problem with the satelite TV, they were there in minutes to get us going, also helped with the luggage. Everything was great.

way overpriced
The home was nice enough. On the web site it presented at a much more deluxe accomodation than actual. Having rented ski homes all over North America, on comparison this accomodation is over priced at least two times, if not three.

13th annual Alta Boys Trip
One of the best trips yet although Mother Nature has a lot to do with the trips success. The house is great for a bunch of guys. Huge dining room and a OK kitchen. We cook every night so those two features work well for us along with the shopping service. Dan Ketner is the best - knows food and wine and gets us great product. The caretakers do a great job if we need anything - no issues. My only negative is the increased costs. First year 750.00 per night, second year 975.00 and this year 1100.00. 975 to 1100 is a 12% increase. Cost of living increases have been running in the neighborhood 3% so I could see 1000.00 or maybe 1025.00. We love Alta but the lodging prices and options are limited. We have decided as a group to look at our options for the 2010 season. Jackson Hole, Snow Basin, and Big Sky have made the short list.
Hope this freeback helps.
