Two Bedroom Second Floor Apartment Amalfi Town Centre

Duomo 2 is a luminous and airy apartment in a fantastic position in the beautiful historic centre of Amalfi. Its highlight is its large panoramic roof terrace enjoying the most amazing view of the sea and the town below. Only minutes walk from the beach, and all this lovely town has to offer, it is the perfect location to enjoy the sea, friendly town life and explore all the sights of the Amalfi coast.

On the second floor, Duomo 2 is furnished in a bright and modern style, and has air conditioning. There is a fully equipped kitchenette, an airy living room with dining table a...nd chairs, settee (which converts to a double sofa bed on request) and television. Just off the living room is a pretty double bedroom, and shower room, a little corridor leads to a further shower room and second double bedroom. Internal stairs in the apartment lead to a huge panoramic roof terrace which enjoys fantastic views of the azure sea, the towns pretty harbour and beach, and Amalfi cathedral. The terrace is furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco whilst enjoying the fabulous view and is divided from that of apartment Duomo 1 by plants and flowers.

The enchanting town of Amalfi with its narrow streets, gorgeous, open air cafes and local restaurants serving typical local cuisine can be leisurely explored on foot, and there is plenty more to see further afield. Lovely whitewashed towns such as Positano and Ravello built loftily on the hillsides looking down towards the clear blue sea are close by, and you can also enjoy a trip to Mount Vesuvius or the ruins at Pompeii. Sorrento is also well worth a visit, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and delightful maze of shops, cafes and restaurants which are a joy to explore.

The local bus service reaches most of these major attractions and there are also ferry services to the islands of Capri and Ischia as well as boat trips along the coast.

Note: There are some steps to the apartment, roof terrace, seafront and surrounding area, therefore this property may not be suitable for persons with walking difficulties.
