A beautiful and impeccably well kept apartment with stunning views across the bay towards amalfi from every single window. Not only were the owners unbelievably helpful but the welcome was warm, friendly and made us feel completely at home. We are recommending the apartment to all of our friends and are hoping to be able to come back ro Casa Torre next summer. The apartment is a few seconds walk from the bus stop where the airconditioned buses run throughout the day into early evening and the beach is a short walk away (albeit down some incredibly steep steps!). The family allow access to several seating areas on the terraces and under the lemon groves, although we didn't have the access to the pool in the other apartment it was no great loss as the beaches along the coast are absolutely beautiful (some via water taxi). We had constant contact with Ludovica when booking our holiday (which was unbelievably helpful) even down to a rental car organised for our arrival and departure and on arrival at the apartment we were brought coffee and biscuits! We miss our lovely apartment and were very sad to leave!

We stayed at this Casa during a 2 month trip through France and Italy. This was one of the highlights of the trip. The views are to die for and it was very tempting to just stay put and relax with a glass of wine for the whole 6 days we were there. The casa is very comfortable but it was the little things that really made it - such as a huge bowl of homegrown tomatoes, grapes and lemons on the kitchen table. Thank you Lauren - we all hope to return again.

5 minute bus ride from amalfi on the main road, very easy to get to once you know where it is. Be aware the taxi drivers rip you off it is a $10 Euro max taxi ride but told us $20Euro and when i questioned the price they said "take it or leave it!". Luda (owner) is lovely and very accommodating full of brilliant information. The house has a pool as it is a 20 minute steep walk down the road to the beach and even steeper climb back up to main road. Every room has beautiful views, the rooms are really big with a wonderful kitchen, all very clean! Highly recommend this house over paying so much more to stay in amalfi, it is worth the 5 minute bus ride and buses are regular day and night. I hope you enjoy like myself and 2 friends did.

hey guys,
I have stayed in Casa Torre about a week with my brother and our friend and I have to say it was "incredible perfect holiday" for all of us.
the house is quite big and essentially well-furnisheed, you can see the italian touches everywhere..I dont know why but the real beuty of the house, also this is true for the amalfi, can`t be seen in the photos. Because the place is much more beautiful in the reality.
I also have to say that the householders` hospitality, thoughtfulness is so great. I appreciate them again :)
In front of the house there is an amazing garden with lemon trees...expecially in the morning, the landscape was spectacular. it ives you much energy to start the day.
amalfi and the local italians are also increadibly great. I was loving Italians, but after the experience in casa torre, I literally fell in love...:)
I highly recommend the place to the guys that want to live the real italian life with helpful, sensible, warming italians..
by the way, it also has to be said, the dishes in amalfi is sooo great!! you will be addicted to the limoncello, the taste of the all kind of pastas and the pizzas.
I highly recommend you to go to amalfi (one of the musts in the life before passing away) and again highly recommend to stay in casa torre.. you won`t be regret.. (I am planning to stay even one week in there every year..;) )
Have a nice trip ;) -

Words nor pictures can do justice to Casa Torre, the location, or the owner. I visited amalfi & stayed at Casa Torre with my 62 year old mother & 12 year old daughter. No location could have met our needs so perfectly. First, we enter the driveway gate and were welcomed by flowers, lemon groves (I have never seen so many lemons or such large lemons), a spectacular view, and the most pleasant host one could ever imagine. A short set of stairs lead you to a terrace & enterance into a sitting room. Down the hall is a comfortable bedroom with 3 twin beds, next a roomy second bedroom with a double bed, a large kitchen (with washer) and lastly a bathroom. We spent most of our time outside because it was so lovely & though you are close to the center of amalfi, you don't have the croweded tourist feeling. You have your own sanctuary after a day of visiting local areas (Ravello, Capri, Sorrento, etc). Casa Torre will sweep you away into relaxation. If you do not feel the need to venture out, you won't feel like you are missing anything. The sea can be seen from every room in the house and the moonlit water is beautiful. I could have stayed & just let time pass for days and days! Amalfi is a downhill walk along the winding roads & will take about 30-45 minutes depending on your own abilities (& how many times you choose to stop & take in the amazing views). You don't have to walk-within a few yards of Casa Torre is a Sita stop. The owner: not enough can be said in this small area about how wonderful, accomodating, pleasant, helpful & nice she is. I felt like family before arriving from her emails. She will take the time to answer all your questions, will go above & beyond to ensure everyone at Casa Torre is comfortable & feels like family. I thought this was my last trip to Europe but 1 day I hope to visit Casa Torre! Once we left we knew we should have finished our vacation at Casa Torre. Thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We all miss you.

This is an amazing place.I really recommend it if you want to experience something special and unforgettable. The views are simply breathtaking and the hospitality is superb-- everyone is friendly and helpful. Ideal also if you want to explore the whole amalfi coast, and of course, Amalfi itself. Stay for as long as you can... you won't regret it!
