Elena 6 is situated in the lower part of Conca dei Marini, a lovely village surrounded by gorgeous orchards, lemon and olive groves, and particularly well known for its picturesque beach. This unique property is spread over two independent levels and boasts two lovely balconies with fantastic sea views, as well as an amazing private sunbathing terrace carved stunningly out of the cliff side overlooking the breathtaking blue bay of Salerno.

Elena 6 is particularly well situated between the famous towns of Positano and Amalfi. Built cleverly into the cliff side above the sea,... it has a handy private parking space just off the main coastal road. Elena 6 is actually two independent apartments spread over two levels. Steps from the parking area lead down to an outdoor patio shaded by a pergola which is furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco and to the upper level of the property.

This upper level consists of a spacious living room, in modern Mediterranean style, with dining table and chairs, kitchen area, sitting area with two armchairs, settee (which can convert to a bed on request to accommodate a child) and television. There are two pretty double bedrooms and two shower rooms. The living room and one of the bedrooms open onto the lovely balcony which enjoys splendid views over the azure sea below. About 30 steps lead down to the lower level of the property, another independent apartment consisting of a kitchen with table and chairs, a double bedroom and a shower room. This lower level apartment opens onto its own pretty balcony shaded by a pergola with trailing plants and enjoying a lovely sea view.

As well has having the modern comforts of air conditioning and internet connection (payable locally) the real highlight of Elena 6 its it?s amazing private sunbathing area. 190 steps lead from the house down to terraces carved out of the cliff side and furnished with sun loungers and sun umbrellas, an unusual yet fantastic spot to soak up the sun, and bathe in the clear blue sea below.

Lido Capo di Conca, with its private beach with restaurant, bar and swimming pool, is just 800m away. (please note all beach facilities are payable locally), and the is also a small cove at Fiordo di Furore just 200m away. Amalfi can be reached by boat from the beach, and the local bus stop, just a few metres from the house, has connections to many of the local villages. The main sights of the area, such as Positano and Ravello, are less than half an hour?s drive and also well worth a visit are the archeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano, at the feet of the volcano Vesuvius, and cosmopolitan Sorrento with its maze of streets, with shops and pavement cafes is a joy to explore.

Note: As the house is built into the cliffside, there are steps to the sun bathing area, and seafront. therefore this property may not be suitable for persons with walking difficulties or small children. The owners of Elena live below the house. They are helpful but do not intrude on your privacy.
