Caprice 1 is an apartment in a great location close to the pretty little town of Massa Lubrense, and only a short distance from famous Sorrento. The apartment, which is part of a family villa, has its? own panoramic terrace for relaxing or dining al fresco and the great advantage of having a pretty swimming pool situated in the grounds below.

Caprice 1 is part of a villa which is composed of the owners apartment, Caprice 1 described here and another two apartments which are also rented and use the swimming pool. It?s an excellent location for a holiday combining sightseeing, explo...ring Sorrento and other wonderful towns of the Amalfi Coast, with relaxation, dips in the pool and of course sampling the excellent local food.

There is a handy local restaurant within walking distance of the property and a further selection of amenities in Massa Lubrense just 1.5kms away.

The apartment, which is located on the second floor, is simply furnished yet light and airy. It consists of a living room which has patio doors opening onto the balcony, and is furnished with dining table and chairs, settee (which converts to a single bed on request) and television separated by sliding doors from the kitchen area. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed and ensuite shower room the other with twin beds (which can convert to a double on request), ensuite bathroom and patio doors opening onto the balcony. The apartment has its? own panoramic terrace furnished with table, chairs and sun umbrella, a pretty spot for relaxing or dining al fresco whilst enjoying the view of the sea and Capri island which can be seen to one side.

About 20 steps lead down from the apartment to the lovely little swimming pool (6m x 4m) which is shared only by the other two apartments at the property and is perfect for a refreshing dip in the heat of the summer. There is also a laundry room with washing machine available for guests use.

Caprice 1 is a great base from which to explore the area too. As well as being only 1.5kms from Massa Lubrense which has all usual local amenities, it is just 7kms from the famous coastal town of Sorrento which has a lovely cosmopolitan atmosphere and delightful maze of shops, cafes and restaurants . The nearest rocky cove is only 5 minutes away and the beach of Marina del Cantone is just 10kms. A little further afield there is plenty more to see in the area. Lovely whitewashed towns such as Positano and Amalfi. Boat trips along the coast are also normally available locally and there are ferry services from Sorrento to the islands of Ischia and Capri.

Public parking is available in the square approximately 200m from the apartment which is then reached by pathways with some steps. * There is no parking in the square on Thursday night/Friday mornings as the local market is held here. Note: The owners have two dogs at the property.
