Caprice 2 is an apartment in a great location close to the pretty little town of Massa Lubrense, and only a short distance from famous Sorrento. The apartment, which is part of a family villa, has its? own terrace for relaxing or dining al fresco and the great advantage of having a pretty swimming pool situated in the grounds just a few steps away.

Caprice 2 is part of a villa which is composed of the owners apartment, Caprice 2 described here and another two apartments which are also rented and use the swimming pool. It?s an excellent location for a holiday combining sightseeing,... exploring Sorrento and other wonderful towns of the Amalfi Coast, with relaxation, dips in the pool and of course sampling the excellent local food.

There is a handy local restaurant within walking distance of the property and a further selection of amenities in Massa Lubrense just 1.5kms away.

The apartment, which is located on the ground floor, is simply furnished. It consists of a living room with kitchen area, dining table and chairs, settee and television, two bedrooms (a double and a twin) and a shower room. At the entrance to the apartment is a paved terrace overlooked by lemon trees and furnished with table, chairs and gazebo creating a pretty spot for relaxing or dining al fresco.

A few feet from the apartments? terrace is a lovely little swimming pool (6m x 4m) which is shared only by the other two apartments at the property and is perfect for a refreshing dip in the heat of the summer. There is also a laundry room with washing machine available for guests use.

Caprice 2 is a great base from which to explore the area too. As well as being only 1.5kms from Massa Lubrense which has all usual local amenities, it is just 7kms from the famous coastal town of Sorrento which has a lovely cosmopolitan atmosphere and delightful maze of shops, cafes and restaurants . The nearest rocky cove is only 5 minutes away and the beach of Marina del Cantone is just 10kms.

A little further afield there is plenty more to see in the area. Lovely whitewashed towns such as Positano and Amalfi built loftily on the hillsides looking down towards the clear blue sea are close by, and you can also enjoy a trip to Mount Vesuvius or the ruins at Pompeii. Boat trips along the coast are also normally available locally and there are ferry services from Sorrento to the beautiful islands of Ischia and Capri.

The cuisine in this area is superb, lazily shop for the local produce and excellent fresh fish, to then dine alfresco on your own terrace, or try out one of the selection of local restaurants or even a delicious Neopolitan pizza.

Public parking is available in the square approximately 200m from the apartment which is then reached by pathways with some steps. * There is no parking in the square on Thursday night/Friday mornings as the local market is held here. Note: The owners have two dogs at the property
