The service was very good and it was nice to be welcomed tere. The property was well appointed and very spacious, there were 5 of us of 3 generations and it was good for all of us. The location was great for going to visit other places of interest and the town we liked very much especially a little cafe we found. We liked the people the house and walking by the marina. The thing we did not like was the concrete yard, we would not have wanted to sit outside as the dustbins were in in the space.

A clean and well furnished holiday let, with a very helpful owner. The house needed some minor improvements, but is more than adequate for a family. You may need to take additional cooking equipment if you plan to eat in.
The picture does not do it justice - a lovely cottage I am delig

This was an immaculate cottage, we were delighted with our stay in Amble, we received an excellent welcome from the owner, the cottage was like a tardis and had a small enclosed back garden. We found the people of Amble very friendly. This cottage is approx 8 miles from Alnwick with its castle (made famous by Harry Potter) and fabulous gardens, also Barter Books - a must to visit, we found the coast had rockpools fabulous for our younger child. Warkworth castle in the next village they had a historical hunt which the children loved - and for us, close to our son and family based with the RAF.
A lovely base for any holiday, we will be going back.
