This traditional and beautifully appointed, cosy terraced house is just a short distance from the sea and sleeps up to five people in comfort. This cosy terraced cottage is only a moment from the sea in the bustling fishing port of Amble. The property has bright, airy and spacious accommodation. There are three comfortable bedrooms and a well equipped and designed kitchen. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

A perfect base to explore this beautiful area of Britain.
The cottage was a true delight...and so spacious!
It was clean,warm and there was plenty of hot water.
The dog loved it too...we didn't want to leave. -

Ambler's Rest is a beautiful comfortable well equipped house, perfect for a holiday. Very close to all amble has to offer (Sunday market fantastic), coast, shops etc and near enough to ther local attractions and Newcastle!

On arrival, we were a little disconcerted to find absolutely no toilet rolls! But that is the only criticism I can make. The house is large and comfortable and was spotlessly clean; we'd very happily have spent longer than a week there. There is a good chippie a short walk away (Harbour Fish Bar in Broomhill St.) the high street shops are handy and the town is attractive and interesting. Warkworth Castle, which easily merits more than one visit, is only a few minutes drive away. The location is about as good as you'll find for getting up and down Northumberland. All in all, highly recommended.

A clean and well furnished holiday let, with a very helpful owner. The house needed some minor improvements, but is more than adequate for a family. You may need to take additional cooking equipment if you plan to eat in.

This was an immaculate cottage, we were delighted with our stay in Amble, we received an excellent welcome from the owner, the cottage was like a tardis and had a small enclosed back garden. We found the people of Amble very friendly. This cottage is approx 8 miles from Alnwick with its castle (made famous by Harry Potter) and fabulous gardens, also Barter Books - a must to visit, we found the coast had rockpools fabulous for our younger child. Warkworth castle in the next village they had a historical hunt which the children loved - and for us, close to our son and family based with the RAF.
A lovely base for any holiday, we will be going back. -
