It boasts three bedrooms, including one with an en-suite shower room, as well as a family bathroom and a ground floor cloakroom. There is also a fitted kitchen with woodburner and dining area, and a sitting room with an electric fire, as well as a conservatory. Outside there is an enclosed yard with furniture, and off road parking for one car. Henderson House is a great base for a family seaside holiday.

Town: Offering a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal bird watching walks though the Hauxley country park, Amble was originally a boat-building centre. Nowadays, the village has a new marina where large fishing boats land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters – all of which can be bought fresh at the harbour fish shop. Located a mile south of the village is the RSPB reserve, Coquet Island which homes a large population of terns, puffins and eider ducks. Boat trips around the island can be arranged, and with Alnmouth, Craster and numerous other sandy beaches a short drive away there's plenty to do in the local area.Read more

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Location is ideally suited for lazy days or for travelling to see Northumberland.

This very well renovated house has everything that you need for a comfortable stay and is in a great location near all amenities. There are loads of places to visit and lots of things to see within a short drive and the local beaches are amazing.The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them.

This is one of the most comfortable cottages we have stayed in. The owners made us very welcome and the house was fitted to a very high standard. The house was warm and the beds were very comfortable. Nearby was every facility we needed. There was plenty to interest in the local area. The local people were friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic quality accommodation within 3 minutes walk from the sea and passing a great chippy, Ice Cream Parlour (as visited by Prince Charles!) and local shops and supermarkets and with good car parking.
Well furnished and recently renovated to an outstanding standard this a high quality place to stay within easy reach of mile on mile of empty beaches and all the fab attractions that this area has to offer. We would happily stay here again.
