Brantfell Lodge is an ideal base for families or friends from which to explore the delights of the southern Lake District. House is lovely and homely with everything you could possibly need. Landlady was friendly and attentive. Location is superb, walking distance to shops, pubs, cafes and the ferrys but far enough out to be peaceful and quiet. Garden is a lovely extra and being able to take our dog was great and he was well accommodated as well with bowls, towels and blankets. All in all a great package and we will certainly be returning.
