a private swimming pool, hot tub, boathouse with jetty and its own private lake frontage with stunning views across Lake Windermere to Coniston Old Man and the fells beyond offering an ever changing outlook.

Bowness has facilities for all of the family at any time of year with boutiques, cafes, restaurants and pubs, children will love feeding the ducks on the lake edge or days out at Brockhole Visitor Centre and the World of Beatrix Potter both a short drive away.

On the lake shore, Lowther Beeches has a privileged and enviable location with magnificent lake views from virtually every room, the pa...tio and from your own outdoor swimming pool.

The house situated on, what is known locally as, ‘Millionaires Mile’ offers spacious, modern accommodation for families or friends who will appreciate the welcoming ambience provided by the open fire and use of the hot tub and swimming pool.

The private jetty enables lazy days fishing on the lake which can be enjoyed right from your door, bring your own boat or hire one nearby.

Meander around an acre of well established gardens which are terraced and offer a high degree of privacy or follow one of the paths leading to your own private lake frontage where a picnic can be enjoyed, enjoy al-fresco dining on the patio whilst watching the sun set or simply enjoy each others company with a glass of wine and marvel over the stunning scenery in front of you.

The cottage is oil central heated and comprises:

* Lounge with open fire, TV with Sky, DVD player and view across Lake Windermere.

* Dining room with patio doors leading to the patio where al fresco dining can be enjoyed.

* Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

* Utility/boot room with washer/dryer.

* Two double bedrooms, both with lake views and one with king size bed.

* Shower room and bathroom both with hand basin and WC.

* First floor.

* A second lounge area with twin beds and comfy seats and freeview TV.

* All oil, electric, bed linen and towels provided.

* Cot and highchair available.

* Private parking for 4 cars.

* An acre of garden with garden furniture gives way to private lake frontage with a boat house and jetty.

* Summer house housing hot tub and access to the swimming pool.

* Please note the swimming pool is unheated and only available May – September.

  The Weather was against us and we had to abandon our car a few miles from Windermere with little hope of reaching our destination due to the heavy snow... but we hadn't factored in the tenacity of the Property Manager Michelle , who was absolutely outstanding.
  Of course we had to be patient and flexible but somehow she commandeered an enthusiastic local lad with a 4x4 and with a great sense of adventure , tenacity and good humour we managed to get there via a Tescos stop off ... what an experience .
  And what a wonderful property too . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and although parents never made it in the end we had an absolutely superb time and are already planning a weekend next year ( perhaps outside the snow season ) although this made it all the more memorable.
  The location was spectacular and we would have no hesitation in recommending this to friends ... and once again a massive thankyou to Michelle and her team who really did go above and beyond to ensure we had a successful trip .
