Especially suited for families or long stay, Tara's Cottage is surrounded by the fruit horchard and the olive grove, just few metres from the main house. The owners, who live in the main house, run the Agriturism Tara. The grassy private area in the front and at the back of the Cottage makes your stay very quiet and relaxing.

Accomodation in the independent COTTAGE for 4 people – Min. stay: 5 nights, according to the season.
Little beds available for babies.
Rates are per accomodation, only overnight stay. Ask a special offer for long stay and monthly stay.
Service:
- Water, electricity, gas inlcuded.
- Set of bathroom towels, set of kitchen linen, set of bed linen (according to the n. of guests) included;
- Weekly change of linen, weekly cleaning (cleaning of dishes and pots NOT INCLUDED)
- Barbeque available (wood not included);
- Daily cleaning , breakfast : NOT included;
- Outdoor swimming and mountain-bikes available and shared with Tara’s guests
A 30% deposit is required by bank transfer or credit card to confirm the reservation. The reservation must be confirmed by e-mail or fax.
An extra 20% deposit by bank transfer is required between 30 and 15 days to arrival for stay longer than 2 nights. Bank fees fees not included.
Cancellations policy
Cancellation received between up to 31 days prior to the check in date are charged 30% of the total rate.
Cancellations received between 30 days and 15 days prior to the check in date are charged 50% of the total rate.
Cancellations received between 14 days and 8 days prior to the check in date are charged 90% of the total rate.
Cancellations received between 7 days and 1 day prior to the check in date are charged 100% of the total rate.

Pets: dogs are welcome on request at Tara’s and can stay in the dog-owner’s accommodation. Anyway they are not admitted in the swimming-pool area. The surrounding garden is available for walking under the dog-owner control.

Scoperto per caso su internet, ho alloggiato in questo meraviglioso agriturismo (nel cottage) con mio marito, mia figlia, i miei genitori (originari del luogo) ed il ns cagnolino, durante le vacanze di Pasqua più piovose e fredde degli ultimi anni!!! Ma è stata sufficiente la bellezza del posto e l'accoglienza ricevuta a scaldarci e a rendere indimenticabili questi 4 giorni.
Tutto fa di Tara un posto speciale:
L'ubicazione (buon punto di partenza per visitare l'Umbria, ma anche per andare un giorno a Roma!)
Il panorama: stupendamente umbro!!!
La struttura: il casale dei sogni a misura d'uomo
Le camere (ed il cottage): eleganti e raffinate dove tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli
L'accoglienza: Francesca, David e i loro 3 splendidi gemelli riescono da subito a farti sentire a casa visiziati e coccolati. Pur mantenendo la dovuta discrezione sono attenti a qualsiasi esigenza e deliziosamente disponibili, affabili e coinvolgenti.
Se sotto il cielo grigio di quei giorni Tara ci è entrato nel cuore, con il sole un posto così ti entra nell'anima e non ti lascia più!! Ci rivedremo sicuramente (anche perchè vogliamo fare il bagno nella bellissima piscina e verificare se il nuovo albero all'ingresso cresce degno del luogo in cui è stato piantato !!!) Vi aspettiamo con la bella stagione ! Sicuramente ci sarà un bel sole per fare un bagno tutti insieme, il periodo di Pasqua è stato uno dei più piovosi che ricordo da quando siamo a Tara. Francesca and David have created such a warm, welcoming place at Tara. They are detail people with big hearts-the magic combination of qualities that makes their hospitality the best in our two month trip to Europe. I used to think that if I stayed somewhere with a beautiful room and a beautiful view that was enough. But I've come to realize that service and hospitality are the components of a trip that make it most memorable and most relaxing. I read the reviews here on tripadvisor before booking, and I'm so glad I followed the advice of everyone else: go there and you will not be disappointed. We are extremely picky travelers and have been all over the world in very expensive accommodations, and Tara still ranks as one of the best places we've stayed. We rented the cottage with our three children, and by the end of the stay I was wishing I could build a house just like it and get rid of our big house in Oregon. It has everything you need and nothing you don't need, which means you'll be able to relax while you're there. The pool is simply fantastic, and everything at Tara is impeccably clean and comfortable. Francesca accommodated every single special request I made, and she and David bent over backwards to always make sure everything was just as we wanted it. They shared apricots from their trees, oil from their olives, wine from their grapes, strawberries from their patch around the frog pond, and lettuce from the garden. They arranged horseback riding lessons for my children. Everything they do they do with a smile and a generous spirit, and their sweet, generous children are the same way. I wish we were their neighbors! We've been back home almost a month, and just today my three year old asked to get on a plane and go back to Tara. I felt the same way he did!

I think the title says it all.
Francesca and David's hospitality and understated elegance of the structure make it a special destination to spend days of comfortable relaxation. the surrounding area tours and excursions allow interested but probably, as has happened to us (family with 2 children), you'll want to enjoy the place of not feeling the need to move from Tara! -

We are two couples who spent their holidays at the agriturismo Tara at amelia (TR) last summer.
We stayed in the "Cottage", a clean, comfortable and well furnished bungalow where we spent happy hours together and could enjoy our privacy when needed.
The agriturismo is run by Francesca and her husband David who were always very kind to us, tried to satisfy all our requests and made us feel really at home. They have
three very nice children and lots of animals.
The landscape is very pleasant, you are surrounded by olive groves, sunflower fields, fruit trees and flowery meadows.
We will certainly return to this "corner of paradise" and thank all of you.

This place is simply delightful! The hosts are kind and careful to provide always for a perfect service.
Tara is immersed in a timeless countryside, near the beautiful medieval town called amelia. In this area, which is truly "Green Heart” of Umbria, there is a magical atmosphere thanks to the remarkable remains of castles, ancient walls and towers. Absolutely recommended! -

Wonderful location and great hospitality. We spent few days at Tara and we had a great time. Francesca and David are really friendly and we suggest everybody to make an experience at Tara. We will come again next summer to spend some time in the swimming pool.

We greeted the 2011 and inaugurated in 2012 in a particularly charming place, where the landscape, the cottages, the colors and atmosphere were perfect. Perfect was as wellthe hospitality received a high mark of professionalism that is not easy to find out elsewhere. The hosts are delicious and always available to satisfy all requests do you need. You feel immediately at ease. The cottage is outstanding, and to be honest is the best way to spend some relaxing vacations.Congratulations and wish you a great new year!!!

Tara è un posto splendido in cui si respira un'aria di serenità e benessere. Il cottage è ideale per chi vuole trascorrere un soggiorno in completa tranquillità. Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati benissimo in quanto è dotato di tutti i confort. Lo consiglio sia per le vacanze con amici che in famiglia. Bellissima la piscina che più di me ha apprezzato il mio piccolo Edoardo. Cosa dire dei sapori genuini dell'Umbria che abbiamo voluto assaporare ogni sera nel magico barbecue posto nel patio del cottage.
