Our lovely 2 bedroom villa is in the Captain's Court complex on Amelia Island Plantation. Walk out the sliding glass doors off of the main living area onto a patio that faces the Atlantic Ocean. Walk a few steps from the patio to the boardwalk that goes down the the beach. The Amelia Island Plantation offers many activities including golf, tennis, bike and walking trails, nature and Segway tours, a fitness center, a spa, shops and restaurants - of course this is all if you can drag yourself away from the beautiful white sand beaches!

There were 4 ladies who rented this condo for 1 week. The patio was where we shared our breakfast coffee while enjoying the ocean view and breezes. in beautiful shells early in morning and late afternoon. Our only draw back would be all the stairs we had to climb to get to the condo. Thank goodness my 2 daughters who were in their early 30's did most of the carrying luggage and groceries to our condo. There was no access to any other way to get things to the condo. It was an uphill battle to get to the condo. But beautiful after you arrived all the way up to the top of the hill. Located on a golf course and it was simply groomed to perfection.
